Daddy Jay and I brought Baby Claudine in Kaiser Clinic here in Long Beach for a check-up. Our baby cannot tolerate the Rotavirus drops that she needed to take, kaya 'di na pinilit. She can't stand the taste, I guess. Claudine also received three kinds of vaccinations today (pneumo, dtap+polio and hepB). Poor girl, talagang to the highest level ang sigaw nya! We're just so glad that everything is going so well with our baby. She now weighs 10.10 lbs-- gains 40% more compare to the average girls. And her height 21.5 in-- she's 10% taller compare to the average girls. It was Claudine's 2nd month visit this time in the clinic. According to her doctor's assessment, "She can now coo, gurgle and sigh, smile back when you smile, respond to voices and push up with arms when on stomach". ...

She's two months now!

Our unica hija turned two months old today. As usual, we bought her a cake (a yummy lemon bundt cake this time) and ice cream (my all- time favorite rocky road) to celebrate her day. At two months, Claudine turns to look in the direction of someone's voices while smiling. She can now finish 4-6 oz of milk plus mommy's milk. And sleeps almost 18 hours per day. She recognizes her name and loves to play with us (mommy and daddy) while we sing the "Papaya Song" and "Hep, Hep, Hurray!" She's absolutely my yummy baby girl. > ...

Losing weight was never been an issue for me until I got pregnant last year. And two months ago, I gave birth to a lovely baby girl. Right now, my goal is to lose few more pounds. Aside from having a hard time choosing what to wear everytime we go out, I badly need to lose weight because one of my bestfriends in highschool is getting married on July and I'll be one of their bridesmaids. I haven't bought my gown yet but I already have an idea on what to wear. Next month, I'm planning to visit David's Bridal, where the couple registered and try to see if the size one gown can fit me right (*crossing fingers). One Saturday morning, my husband drove his car to Swap Meet to buy some plants. He can't find a nice parking space so he thought of parking his car in the street. After few hours of shopping around and bargaining, he went back to his car to put all the things he bought into the trunk. The baby girl just fell into a deep sleep, (and I'm trying to sneak together w/ my smartphone!). Tonight, I won't put her to her crib, we'll be sharing the bed together. Wondering where the dad is? Well, he's at the tv room, he'll be working tomorrow and ayaw mapuyat! Our baby has been crying for two consecutive nights from 12mn 'til 4am. Why? I don't know?! but I guess, she's suffering from colic everynight. I just hope that she will fine today, as I did what my friend, Khyng told me- to massage her stomach with aciete de mansanilla.. I super hope and pray that it will work! (*crossing fingers!) As of the moment, it's already 12:30am and she's still fast asleep, so, may progress na... Though I woke her up ten past eleven to feed her, nakatulog naman sya agad. So, I guess ok naman siya! Ooops, sorry but I have to end this as my phone's battery is running low. I visited my OB/GYN today. My doctor said that everything looks good, I look good, (teehee!). He also mentioned that , "Don't wait too long to have your second one". I go, "What?!" Huwag muna! I'm not ready yet. I still want to enjoy my baby girl. But if you were to ask my husband, ayaw na at parang na-traumatized, haha! Another thing we talked about is my weight. Whoo-hoo! I lost weight from 124 lbs to 111 lbs, isn't that a great news? Well, big factor talaga ang pag-breastfeed ni baby not to mention the puyat, hahaha! My goal right now is to lose 5 to 10 more lbs then, that's it! ...
