Dear European Fans,Coheed and Cambria regret to inform you that we will be postponing most of our Mainland European shows until early April. There is no need to refund your tickets, as they will be accepted for the new dates.Linkin Park has personally invited us to support them in the US during this time and after a lot of thought, we have accepted. While this is good news for us and our fans in the US, we realize it affects you, and we apologize for any inconvenience it will cause. We also apologize to all the promoters and especially to those at Visions, who's festival has been affected deeply by this decision.We plan to announce all the rescheduled dates this week, as well as any information to added shows or changes. As of now, the European shows in January are not postponed.To those of you in the UK, The Kerrang! Tour will not be affected. The John Butler trio will unfortunately be canceling the Show for Monday Night November 26th in Tucson due to John Butler's continued recovery from Bronchitus. This will give John Butler the necessary time to recover so he is able to complete the rest of the tour without further damage to his throat. We are very sorry for any inconvenience and hope that we will be able to return soon to make up for this lost show.Full refunds will be available from the point of purchase shortly. Spinner recently published 2 different articles, one with Tool's Maynard James Keenan whom is skeptical about this and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard whom is supporting Radiohead, just not financially.Excerpt from Maynard's interview:"I love Radiohead," Keenan tells Spinner. "They're a great band, but I do think -- and I'll go on record now as saying I'll probably be wrong and time will tell -- what they did is a one-trick pony in a way, 'cause it might work for a publicity thing to allow people to download it, but it's very comfortable for them to be able to do that. Skies Devoured - Recording Updates; EP Tracklisting

As you know, we've been working on recording and releasing an EP this coming Winter. Since we've entered the studio with Joan Cordero in early November, we can finally announce that the recording process is complete! Meaning our part is done. This would have been finished earlier, but we've had scheduling conflicts plaguing our progress. All we wait on now is the mixing process and eventually the duplication process, being that this is an independent release. ;) The EP will be limited to 1000 copies, so be sure to get yours! In a stripped down twenty minute performance, with Adam watching from the balcony, they played Stay, Desire, Angel of Harlem and Wave of Sorrow.Presenter Jo Whiley asked the audience, who had come to hear We Are Scientists, Biffy Clyro and The Courteeners, to give a warm welcome for an up and coming act: the guitarist had not been playing that long and might make some mistakes while the singer was a little bit shy and not too articulate. It’s almost absurd to have to try to explain what happened at The Echo in L.A. last Thursday night. First, I personally couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a packed house for the first of three bands. Shows like this don’t get much attention in L.A. for some odd reason. The city is so damn big, so there’s gotta be at least a few dudes and chicks who’d like to get treated to some good ol’ heavy music, right? Well, I was very pleased. And as the lead singer from Danava told me after the show, “We finally had a good show in L.A.!” For me, and many others, this was a triple-headliner bill. First you got the Portland’s epic hard rockers Danava, then Oakland’s metal mercenaries Saviours, and closing it out are Sweden’s psychedelic rock connoisseurs, Witchcraft. All with new records recently released or on the horizon, it was a flawless evening that left uncovered ears bleeding, the same way it must’ve at some grungy club in London cirque 1974.Read the full review ...

The Rumble Strips will kick off London's hottest new indie club night as Virgin Mobile Union presents the first of its monthly events on 23rd November. First there was Jimi Hendrix. Then Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl followed suit proving that the wild and cold winds that blow into Seattle off the northern Pacific Ocean foster the growth of intense and intelligent musicians. So tonight I anticipated greatness in hearing the much hyped, loved and praised band Minus The Bear at The Fillmore in San Francisco.Oh, and The Fillmore is the quintessential music venue in San Francisco. If you haven't been there before, you owe it to yourself to attend a concert there. Even my 78 year old mother has been there; I took her there 10 years ago to see Nancy Sinatra. The coolest thing about The Fillmore is the old guy at the door that greets you when you come in. He "welcomes" every single person that comes in that door. And the free apples!
