OS: Windows XPIf your computer has not enough RAM to withstand loads then there's something which you can do to get better performance & you will not even need to upgrade any hardware. I have found a new Registry Tweak by which you can minimise the windows animation & thus can get best out of your low RAM.As windows animation shares a high percentage of your RAM & you can disable it by using the tweak mentioned below & improve system performance ,if looks of your OS don't matter for you.....Open Registry Editor(regedit.exe) in Run under Start Menu.Navigate to :-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetricsNow change the Value of MinAnimate from 1 to 0Exit the editor & reboot..Note: Create a System Restore Point or have Backup before applying this Tweak..This will bring some changes in windows animation & you would get increased performance of your PC..Bob Matharoo

Finally some news at last! TimesOnline has a good article about Pixar and pleasing adults as well as kids with their films. It also discusses the possibility of Pixar being too-mature with Ratatouille. Here's an insightful quote from the article and Brad Bird...While Pixar uses pop-culture buffoonery as the icing on the cake, for DreamWorks it is the cake: remove the jibes at Disney in Shrek, or the celebrity jokes in Shark Tale, and there’s not much left, least of all that sense of enchantment that is the lifeblood of fantasy. “Pop-culture references are easy,” sighs Bird, “and they give the audience a cheap thrill. But they don’t last. Take Disney’s Aladdin, which I like – when that came out, and I saw the genie doing an impression of [US chat-show host] Arsenio Hall, I thought, ‘This is going to mean nothing in 10 years’ time.’ We try to avoid that. People who know James Bond movies could feel their influence on The Incredibles, but hopefully you didn’t need to
Wow. this was truly a well made animation! But that’s probably because this

This animation was brought to the attention of Wasted Spacers (a forum I participate in) and I couldn't let it go by without sharing it with my readers.Alan Becker has created a very humorous and very slick piece of animation with this battle between a stick man and his creator. Enjoy (click below to view the animation).Animator vs. Animation by *alanbecker on deviantARTAlan's Description:An animator faces his own animation in deadly combat. The battlefield? The Flash interface itself.A stick figure is created by an animator with the intent to torture. The stick figure drawn by the animator will be using everything he can find - the brush tool, the eraser tool - to get back at his tormentor. It's resourcefulness versus power. Who will win? You can find out yourself.-- This took three long months.. i think it's worth it.
