  • Article marketing mistakes you have to avoid
Driving traffic to a site or blog is done through various methods, such as search engine submission, search engine marketing, banner advertising, pay per click advertising, directories submission etc. It's up to the webmaster ( or blogger ) to select the right ways which he/she thinks will work for him/her. You have to remember that whilst a promotion method may work for one of your friends or fellow webmaster, may not bring you the same results. You really don't have to copy others. Instead, try to be as original as you can ( this is what you're visitors and readers will appreciate when viewing your site or blog ).Do you know that it is possible to drive traffic to a site/blog if you write articles and publish them on various directories or ezines, too? If you had no idea about this yet, I'm telling you that this thing can be done. Now, don't just open Notepad or Microsoft Word and start typing as a mad man, just because it is possible. You have to to think about it for a moment: are y

PARIS (Reuters) - French President Nicolas Sarkozy has taken legal action against the Web site of the magazine Le Nouvel Observateur over an article describing what it said was a text message he had sent to his ex-wife Cecilia, his lawyer said on Thursday. The suit accused the weekly of "falsification and the use and procurement of falsified documents" over an article that appeared on Feb. 6 headed "The obsession with Cecilia", lawyer Thierry Herzog told Reuters. On Tuesday a court in Paris awarded the president symbolic damages of one euro against the budget airline Ryanair for unauthorised use of a photograph of him and his companion Carla Bruni in an advertisement for cheap tickets. The couple were married last weekend after a whirlwind romance first made public in December, only weeks after Sarkozy divorced his second wife Cecilia. The Nouvel Observateur Web site said Sarkozy had sent Cecilia a text message shortly before his wedding with Bruni concerning h

  • Central African editor jailed for article on graft
BANGUI (Reuters) - A court in Central African Republic has jailed a newspaper editor for six months for an article accusing two ministers of improperly receiving money from a French company, a press watchdog group said on Tuesday. Paris-based Reporters without Borders said lawyers for Faustin Bambou, editor of the privately owned weekly Les Collines de l'Oubangui, had appealed against the sentence handed down on Monday by a Bangui court. The state prosecutor had requested a two-year jail term and a heavy fine for the editor, who was found guilty of "inciting revolt, insults and libel". The court ordered him to pay symbolic damages of 1 CFA franc (a fifth of one US cent). Bambou was arrested on Jan. 11 during a public sector strike in the poor, landlocked former French colony by unions demanding the payment of months of arrears in civil servants' salaries. He was charged over an article in his newspaper which accused two government ministers of having illegally received 7

  • Article : Home Equity - What a home equity lender looks for: Tips for loan approval
If you apply for a home loan, the home equity lender will check your credit record to find out about the type of borrower you are. All home loan lenders want to know about how much money you owe and whether you make your payments on time. An equity lender will also want to find out whether you have a record of bankruptcy, repossession, judgments or delinquent accounts. If you have a low credit score, an equity lender may offset the risk by raising the rate of interest or reducing the loan amount. Factors like long-term job stability and a low loan-to-value ratio can compensate for bad credit issues. If you have a good credit score, home equity lenders will offer you a higher loan-to-value ratio, a better interest rate and a higher loan amount. A loan-to-value ratio expresses the amount of the first mortgage lien, as a percentage of the total appraised value of a property. The term "homeowner's loan" has created a lot of buzz in the past few years, mainly because it is not a formal tag for any kind of loan. Rather, it is a general label for many types of credit extended to a homeowner whenever he or she would use his or her own house as collateral to secure the grant of a loan. There are quite a number of homeowner loans that you could avail of, so it is not correct to say that you simply want to apply for a homeowner's loan. Determining which type of homeowner's loan is most suitable for you is the first step that should be taken with this general kind of loan agreement. Under these arrangements, what option is available for the house ?owner? if he has to acquire another loan and he has no other property to use as collateral? Is he at a dead end? Should he just wait until full ownership of the house is transferred under his name before
