Now I've learned Teflon and other non-stick surfaces are found in the packaging of these household – common items:• Candy bars• Microwave popcorn• Fast food packages like French fries and pizza boxes• Bakery goods• Drinks• Paper plates• Stain resistant products such as carpet cleaners.Wow, another reason to try to avoid French fries, candy bars, pizza and microwave popcorn. Most of the food – like products that are in direct contact with non-stick coating like those mentioned above are not healthy for us to eat. So now might be the time to avoid these products where Teflon is commonly used.Actually it's Perflurooctanoic Acid (PFOA) that is used in the production of Teflon and other non-stick products.
