Beat your chest, and KRUMP2007-06-08 15:49:40
Krump started with clown dancers in South Los Angeles’s African-American communities. As an alternative to sports, drugs or gangs kids and young adults have taken to clowning and clown dancing as a positive activity outside of school. Known for starting Krump, Tommy the Clown, set the standard for the activity (even if it is contested who actually ‘invented’ Krumping).
In the 90’s, Tommy and his crew basically invented clown dancing, with bizarre and eclectic dance moves that “includes locking, popping, mock stripper dancing and anything else that makes ‘em laugh”.
Soon enough, this urban clowning became main stream. Krumpers can be found not only in America, but in Europe and Japan.
I would actually like to see a Krump off (or a battlezone I guess they are called)
