  • What is Graphic Design Poster Competition on Veerle's Blog
I could have posted this design competition announcement earlier, too bad I found about it late after digging links to some design forums when the submission deadline was only two days left to go. Veerle never provides email subscription to her blog, I got a little upset to my self, why I didn't subscribe to any feed reader before. The basic concept of this contest is to come up with something creative or witty that visualises the question 'What is Graphic Design?'. Veerle is the only judge and jury for the contest and she gathered attractive prizes to win from sponsors like Adobe Creative Suite CS3, Expression Engine CMS and much more.Veerle put forward her own poster design, and got interesting comments by other Flickr users. :D She used the same color scheme as shown on her blog, but the design visualized what Graphic Design is in different typos. The closing date was 15 February 2008, and the contest got the mass attention nearly up to 600 design submissions. As some of you probably

  • RSS Competition Update: More Prizes
With the RSS competition going very strong, I wanted to make sure I have networked with right people to help me win this competition. I have been approach if I would be able to accept sponsors, prior to this I was already asking some of my blogging friends and entrepreneurs to see if they would like to sponsor this competition. So far it looks like I am hand in hand with several of the competitors within this competition. I currently do not know what they are doing to gather more readers or what tactics they are doing. I know personally, it is who you know and I am using that to help me with this competition. Networking is very strong and simple on the internet especially among entrepreneurs and bloggers. We tend to be more open than if we were trying to network offline. With that said I have more prizes to give out, courtesy of several sponsors of this competition. I will speak about the prizes that I am giving out, then list the sponsors giveaways. Ian Fernando GiveAways: Adsense Se

  • What Am I Doing to Win the RSS Competition?
As my competitors are creating their future tactics I think I might just put mine out in the open. This is a great way for my readers to know what I am providing first hand and if they want to participate if needed. Well, I posted the competition post late last night, exactly at 12:05 am the day when this RSS competition started. This gave me a heads up prior to my competitors or my fellow bloggers. I didn’t have time to think on what prizes to span out for the month of February because I will be out on the 23-27th for Affiliate Summit West 2008, this may give my other fellow bloggers an advantage. So what am I doing that is unique from everyone’s prizes? Well I know some are providing hard cash to get ahead of the game while others are offering ad space. So far I have offered a chance to win one of the premium templates, of course anyone who wrote a post about it will have a far better chance at winning one. It may seem like Nokia is copying Apple by trying to get a touch-based interface out as soon as possible, but it is inevitable that pretty much every device available now will have to go the touch way if they are to pave a better path to the future. S60 Touch is Nokia's endeavor to do just that and it looks like there's a good deal of effort behind it to ensure that Nokia will continue to dominate the mobile market. Here is a video of the S60 Touch in action at Nokia World 2007 held at Amsterdam, Netherlands.
