This is the second Mock Draft for 2008 from ITI, and this one has two rounds! Since I think it is too difficult to predict trades, there are none here. If you have any comments you can leave them at the bottom of the post, and you can grade this as well. Enjoy!

In the quiet days of the NFL off season, the Mlive Lions forum doofs are desperate for any news that would allow them to post their accumulated "wisdom" on the site. They got their chance with the latest news regarding the courting of Al Wilson. Which is nothing exciting, just confirming what we already knew. The scarily named russthomas (I just had a chill run down my spine...BRRR) nails the Lions, and their talent issues, in one blunt sentence. The reason why the Patriots can bring in veterans is due to the FACT they draft well.Bing-fucking-o!Al Wilson would be a great fit on a good team that has few holes to fill. Then you can afford to take a flyer on an admittedly talented linebacker who's older and an injury risk. Teams that have depth thanks to their smart drafting can plug the occasional hole with a free agent. They also know one incontrovertible fact. You do not build a NFL team using free agency as a foundation.Unfortunately for we Lions fans, our moronic GM, and his on the fir

After some considerable wait HM Revenue & Customs and customs have finally published the draft legislation covering changes to rules for taxing UK residents who are not domiciled in the UK. These are more wide ranging than expected and will have a significant impact on not only Non Doms but also beneficiaries and settlors of offshore trusts whether or not they are Non Doms.

1st Round
1. Miami Dolphins - DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU
Bill Parcells is going to put his stamp on the Dolphins, and that means a 3-4 defense. Dorsey is a dominating presence, and I believe he is very capable of playing Nose Tackle. DT is not a flashy pick for number 1 overall, but it is the [...]
It was two in the morning when I stumbled home from the bar around the corner. My apartment building was once a mom and pop motel. Now it was a rundown tenement with a fresh coat of badly applied paint. As usual the light above the entrance flickered on and off. I got my keys out of my pocket only to find that someone had already jimmied opened the door. As I climbed up the stairs to my floor the smell of ethnic cooking and wet dryer lint hit me. My hand reached for the door and realized the handle was unlocked. Without any thought my hand reaches into my coat and comes back out with my luger. I swing the door open with my gun aimed high and found two gangster looking mother fuckers, their guns pointing right back at me. I slowly put mine down on the kitchen counter and lit up a cigarette. “What can I do for you boys?” The one on the right looked like a reject from a Dick Tracy strip, his face rat like and slanted, his hands thin and wiry. The other was short and fat with a red

The New York Red Bulls selected two Ohio-born defenders with their first two picks in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. Dublin, Ohio native Eric Brunner was taken with the second pick in the second round (16th overall) and Huber Heights, Ohio-native Luke Sassano was drafted out of the University of California with the fourth pick of the third round (32nd overall).Brunner is a central defender who is listed at 6'4. He played four years in college, the first at the University of Maryland. The soon-to-be 22-year old was OSU's captain this year and even scored six goals in 26 starts. He's apparently pretty dangerous on set pieces; Mike Lewis just informed me he scored four times off corners last season. This implies he is good in the air, which is an area where this team has been particularly deficient, especially defensively (as for offensively, think about this kid and Jozy together on corners). Jeff Agoos said he had Brunner "rated right up there" with the best defenders in the draft and that he
Closers are one of those positions you can get late in the draft. Some Fantasy Owners like to nab their closers early, but if you've listened to the Radio Show, Mock Draft play-by-play, or my pal Lenny Melnick, you know by now that you will screw your team by picking closers to early.
When people [...]

If you've been checking out this site for a while you know that I hate picking starting pitchers before the 8th or 9th round. I have to step back and be realistic here when generating these rankings because some see starting pitching as very important. I still don't believe that any starting pitchers should be [...]
