I heard this one on the radio this morning. It happened in Segarcea, Romania the past weekend.It was Saturday night and Adrian, 22, was driving home from the party he attended that night, where of course, he had a couple of drinks. My oldest took his driving test yesterday. A right of passage I suppose. At least they say he drives well enough to get his licence. He did pass with a score of 92! Not bad at all! Let me ask you this..... "Do you know of anyone who has wrecked a driver's ed. car and still passed with such flying colors?" Well, my son accomplished this yesterday! Technically, he didn't wreck the car, someone backed into him. The accident was not his fault and was totally unavoidable. (from his position anyway) A lady backed directly into him in a parking lot. She hit the driver's side door and made a decent sized dent and left the mirror hanging by a thread. My son was noticeably shaken by the whole event. I am thankful for this accident though. It was such an great life lesson for him to experience.
