  • Dead Space has a rich enough story for Dead Space 2, 3, etc. - SendMeRSS
Dead Space has a rich enough story for Dead Space 2, 3, etc.In a recent interview with Dead Space’s executive producer Glen Schofield, he revealed that the story of Dead Space wouldn’t be finished in the upcoming Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (and now PC as well) survival-horror game. The single player game is set for release in fall 2008. To quote: “I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games. I’d love for this to become a well established franchise; we’ve created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made.” So if the first game is a success, Dead Space 2 and other sequels sound possible. In the game you play as Isaac Clarke, a spaceship engineer on a routine mining vessel call. But it turns out they are space zombies who, if left unchecked, would be a threat to humanity, and they lurk about the enormous vessel as you try to rescue survivors. The game doesn’t only take place inside the space ship, you

  • Are you one of those people who is constantly busy with projects, social outings, etc or do you just like to lay low and stay home? Why/why not?
I'm actually the type of person who doesn't like going out - I'd much rather stay home, sleep, or be with my kids. It's not because I'm a mom of two or anything, but it's just that I only have few hours to spend with them on a daily basis and whenever I have time, I'd rather spend it with them.Like when I didn't bother to attend my company's Christmas party - I just spent the day at home and slept. The hours I was awake were spent with my kids and a couple of hours more for blogging.I don't know why exactly I'm like this, but I do recall that even before, when I was still single, I still would prefer staying at home than going out, getting drunk somewhere.

I have the template up, but really there isn't any information, just a single post. Feel free to check it out, give some opinions on the look. Perhaps there are some things you think should be added, etc. The site doesn't look like much, but it'll get going pretty soon--this weekend hopefully--and we'll see how things go. Remember, spread the news about this! The more people we get in on this idea the better. To other news, I was reading a post here and I thought I'd ask anyone here what magazines you read. • Alcohol and Benzodiazepines (Klonopin, Xanax, Ativan, Valium, Etc.)
I grew tired of screwing around with the database and went out while ago on something of a scouting trip for work. In my short travels I found the above car. Man, I'd love to buy and restore that thing. Apparently that's what their plans are, because when I asked if it belonged to a customer and, if not, how much they wanted for it, I was quickly informed that it was not for sale. For some reason I really want a second car that I can drive around just at night and on the weekends. A Triumph Spitfire would be ideal, but anything with character would do.Anyway, it's Friday and that means Google is about to be inundated with searches about drinking while on benzodiazepines. I figured I'd write a short post about it. A preemptive strike, if you will. I've talked about it before, but I've never given it it's own post, and the search engines seem to like that. The simple answer is, do not drink while taking a benzodiazepine. It's not a smart thing to do. Believe me, I'd love to drin

  • Newsletter done, etc
I am a tad wiped out today. I was rather busy on Monday with the folding/distributing work party for the July issue of Erie Gay News. There was only a total of 4 of us (including me), which is rather on the smallish side. We didn't get done with folding until 10 PM or so. (Sometimes, we have been done as early as 8:30 or so.) By the time we got done with delivering, it was a bit before midnight. I just have the drop offs to the guy who takes stuff down to Edinboro (which will happen tomorrow night), and then I am done. For this month. ;) I am looking forward for when we fold, and realize that the issue cover dated for September comes out on August 21, so I will be spending my birthday putting the newsletter out. (Hmm, I wonder if I can use the low turnout for this month + the birthday thing to guilt some extra folks into volunteering? ;) There was a fun visit from the ever delightful usual suspect. Sigh! Damnit, I was due for some frolicking after all of that work! ;) He makes m

  • Busy weekend; wedding and etc
It was a fairly busy weekend for me. Deb and I finished up the newsletter, which has been uploaded to Kinko's for printing. I took care of some geek stuff on Friday, and then crashed for a bit. On Saturday, I went with John and Paula to the wedding of our friend Shari to Mike. John and Paula performed the ceremony. They have done about 40 weddings, including legally recognized weddings, as well as commitment ceremonies. The first one that they ever did was for me and my ex. It was a very simple and lovely ceremony. The groom's family is of Polish descent, so they had some sections in Polish, and also a ritual involving bread, wine and salt. It was lovely. They had great food afterwards, which figures as Shari works as a cook. I took some photos there, and also some photos at Kinzua Dam on the the way back. Later that night, I went dancing at Trance with my friend Paul. The crowd was a tad light, but that meant that we had room on the dance floor. The music was fairly good.
