Pakistan Constitutional experts have said that any constituted court or any house of Parliament with a majority can reverse all unconstitutional decisions taken by President Pervez Musharraf on November 3, 2007. These experts, including Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, former Supreme Court judges Wajihuddin Ahmed, and Fakhruddin G Ibrahim rejected Musharraf's view that only a two-thirds majority of Parliament could reverse his actions. "All November 3, 2007 actions were taken through an executive order, which requires a constitutional and legal sanction, but steps taken on or after that day do not enjoy any of such cover," The News quoted Justice (retired) Wajihuddin, as saying. "All these steps were taken without following the procedure defined in the Constitution or by a two-thirds majority in both houses of Parliament. These steps were taken by an authority which was constitutionally incompetent for doing so," he added. "The authority of 'Chief of the Army Staff

German academics believe they have solved the centuries-old mystery behind the identity of the "Mona Lisa" in Leonardo da Vinci's famous portrait.Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a wealthy Florentine merchant, Francesco del Giocondo, has long been seen as the most likely model for the sixteenth-century painting. But art historians have often wondered whether the smiling woman may actually have been da Vinci's lover, his mother or the artist himself. Now experts at the Heidelberg University library say dated notes scribbled in the margins of a book by its owner in October 1503 confirm once and for all that Lisa del Giocondo was indeed the model for one of the most famous portraits in the world."All doubts about the identity of the Mona Lisa have been eliminated by a discovery by Dr. Armin Schlechter," a manuscript expert, the library said in a statement on Monday.Until then, only "scant evidence" from sixteenth-century documents had been available. "This left lots of room for interpretation a
Hi everyone, I'm hoping I can figure something out to prevent people downloading any attachments that people upload to my forum (www.enolamusic.com)
I allow musicians to upload their tracks for promotion - they stream and play fine, but if you click on the title, it allows people to Save As... to their hard drive.
I would like to disable this somehow. Anybody think they can help?
Thanks so much

What does a 40-something single woman with a mortgage to pay do when she gets laid off after 11 years selling advertising space for high tech publications? We hear these stories on television all the time. Such women can end up marrying the wrong men simply for security, going back to old relationships simply in the interest of stability, taking different unsatisfying jobs, going back to school, and sometimes tragically killing other people or themselves. But in the end the question they all ask is, "what is the meaning of life?" How can life have meaning without this job, this income, this lifestyle?Look at Louise Lewis. When she was "set free" from the corporate machine and was faced with the "meaning of life" question, she decided to sit and wait and feel what might be the correct direction to take. Raised as a Christian with a close personal relationship to God (or "Spirit"), Lewis decided to listen for a message. And she found many - that this was a positive thing to not have
Cambridge University geneticist Aubrey de Grey has famously stated, “The first person to live to be 1,000 years old is certainly alive today …whether they realize it or not, barring accidents and suicide, most people now 40 years or younger can expect to live for centuries.”

US television channels and newspapers quoted US counter-terrorism experts as saying that bin Laden is hiding in Chitral because it is remote and its rugged terrain makes it impossible for Pakistani forces to look for him there.Daniel Benjamin of the Brookings Institute says that the Al Qaeda chief also has sympathisers in that area. “They have a code of hospitality for guests, and they’ve probably also gotten a fair amount of money from bin Laden,” said Mr Benjamin who tried to track bin Laden down during the Clinton administration. He believes bin Laden is surrounded by bodyguards armed with surface-to-air missiles and good intelligence.“I think it’s quite likely he has a very good early warning system (and) that there are perimeters set up so people know who’s coming and going in the area that he’s living,” Mr Benjamin said. Market researchers are telling us that online shopping has all but peaked. Apparently, these "experts" tell us that the growth in Internet retail is set for a serious slow down. Indeed, one of the market analysts says, "most of the people who are ever going to be buying online are online."Run that past me again...most people who are going to buy anything from a web site are already doing it? Oh dear....then perhaps any business planning Internet growth ought to give up now. There is no future in it.Well guess what - it's tosh. Just have a think for a moment. Less than one sixth of the world's population is online. Even if you consider the world's affluent west, still less than half of them use the Internet. There are cheap, power free laptops being developed for the Third World and prices are plummeting in the West every week. I saw a Hewlett Packard printer on sale yesterday for £241. When it was launched, just four weeks ago, it was £378. Reduced pricing is bound to have an impact
Well we will hereby discuss about latest movie Dhoka. Dhoka can be tagged as powerful and intellectual movie. This movie is well directed by Pooja bhatt. After attempting PAAP and HOLIDAY, Pooja charters into a new -- and most difficult -- terrain with DHOKHA. With terrorism raising its ugly head in Hyderabad recently, a film like DHOKHA is all the more topical. In this case, the suicide bomber is the cop's wife. Whew, piping hot stuff indeed! What sets DHOKHA apart from films of its ilk is that the film never takes sides. It doesn't blame any particular community, in fact it's not pro or anti any religion. It blames the people who spread terror in the name of religion. Also, it denounces terrorism in very clear words. DHOKHA hits where it hurts. You want to know the reason why people turn into jehadis. DHOKHA probes into the issue and provides the answers. To sum up, DHOKHA is one of the finest and powerful films to come out of the Bhatt camp. This one dares to un

The following two articles regarding war on Iran and the further "restructuring" of the mid-east from RIA Novosti, translated using Babelfish but you get the gyst of it. I'm unsure whether the times and date given are GMT or Russian. It should be interesting to see how things play out in the coming days and weeks, not only to see if this info from Russia is accurate but especially since Iran has a mutual defence pact with Russia and Syria and is doubtful(as in when hell freezes over) that Amerisrael will honor any agreements or promises made with Russia(though make no mistake 'the oligarchs' are another matter entirely).
