  • "Tom Jones - Unchained Melody" vs. "The Cardigans - My Favourite Game"
Sir Tom Jones singing one of most popular song ever: Unchained Melody of The Righteous Brothershahabass :Oooh! Touchy. What is the perfect singing machine exactly? I'll say one thing, those who try to cover Elvis' songs, including Tom, do have quite a struggle. However, FOR ME, I said FOR ME, as much as I love Elvis, (and maybe it IS vocal strength, maybe I'm being a bit shallow) Tom's voice does everything it needs to do. I'm a vocal coach (not taught any big stars or anything, but I feel I have some knowledge). In the end though, I guess it's opinion. Shall we leave it there?Videoclip Oficial de "My Favourite Game" by The Cardigansjoaoluis17:Back in '98 Cardigans were one of the "next big thing" in music... Although they never really got very famous, the Swedish group still made a few great songs... This my favourite, but "Erase/Rewind" is a good tune as well, and Nina is so hot there!

In this video, he perform the flying magic trick or in the magic world known as levitation. The show is so good and well done by David, until now i still like it. All people can perform magic, including me. Here's the clip:Hope you like it. Enjoy. :)
  • The Most Favourite Place In France
Provence is an area in the South East of France, famous for its sun drenched countryside landscapes, lavender fields, oleander trees and olives. When most people think of Provence, they think of a slower pace of life, walks through forests of oak and chestnut trees, church towers with wrought-iron campanile where the 'mistral' finds little obstruction, sloping vineyards and the colorful scenery that charmed Cezanne and Van Gogh. But Provence is much more than this. It also has the sun drenched beaches and yacht-filled harbors of the Cote d'Azur , the famous French Riviera which stretches from Hyeres to Menton and contains the great port cities of Marseilles, Toulon and Nice. Provence also has the Alps and skiing, just one hour from the seaside. The Alpes d'Azur rise high above Nice to 4000 meters with the Alpes of Haute Provence and the Hautes Alpes providing winter skiing and summer exploring on horseback or by bike. The largest city french property for sale in Provence is Marseill
  • my favourite song right now
Pierre Akendengue's "Ta'Nzambe" is to Timbaland as Fela Kuti was to James Brown: it sounds of its time (e.g. production values on female choir and the clipped, interstitial vocal shards at the end) yet sacrifices none of its inherited clattering, multi-meter/-tempo/-everything communal rhythmic complexity, and renders it perhaps even more mind-boggling.Zoilus recently pointed to this new blog, the introductory post to which tackles a question I sometimes ask myself, especially after reading about a musician delving into traditional musics from far away: what of those countries' modern music? This one of numerous ways in which world music is constructed leaving most of us thinkin that most countries just have really traditional music, collaborative projects with Ry Cooder and westernized pop in their own language(s). Even then, a lot of times, people tend think of most music from other countries as being "traditional," "folk" or "ethnic", forgetting that other cultures might have a di

What? Another yeast concoction?Yes, that's right, I am finally getting my yeast legs, and just like like that little mound of dough that expands and increases in size, more and more my confidence with working with yeast is growing. I've never been happier. I've never had this much repeated success with yeast before, it's unprecedented! Now I know how it really feels to work that pliable dough in your very own hands, kneading, pulling and stretching those protein strands to elasticity, wow. I know it sounds awfully food-geeky of me but it was really thrilling, I can see why bakers are so willing to get up so early for their craft, this dough-business is definitely worth it.Okay, okay, I promise I will start to control my elation; I can feel most of you are slowly starting to back away from the crazy girl enthusing fanatically about dough and yeast. I'm dropping the ball of dough and my hands are up in the air. These new yeasty concoctions are Turkish Gozlemes, which are basically filled f

  • Winehouse favourite for no-show
William Hill are now taking bets on Amy Winehouse not turning up for gigs, although the odds of her not showing are so short - 2-1 on - that it's hardly worth the gamble.Of course, with the likely real cause of Amy's "exhuastion", the odds really should just be 2-1. (We're now doing the jokes in tic-tac, by the way.)
  • My Favourite Pen
These are two different views of my favourite pen, attached to one of my favourite bear. I have many pens at home.  Pens come in various designs, brands and colours.  There are expensive pens and cheap pens.  I used to carry expensive pens, with brands like Parker, but I don’t feel secure everytime when people asked to borrow my pen.  Most of the time, when people borrow your pen, they never return.  There will go my expensive pen.  My father had similar experience, and he often grumble about that.  He had learned not to carry expensive pens.  Me too.   Nowadays, I only carry cheap pen.  I don’t like to buy anymore expensive pens.  It is a waste of money.  Afterall, cheap pens or expensive pens, they are all pens.  They all serve the purpose of writing.  I don’t buy pen to show off or to impress people.  I buy pen to write!

  • Alberto Manguel - Reading Diary: A Year of Favourite Books
Jane Sullivan reviews Alberto Manguel's Reading Diary. The essayist and novelist Alberto Manguel is one of those increasingly rare beings who live their lives steeped in books. What is even rarer is that he has the gift of passing on his enthusiasm. A few years ago, he re-read a few of his favourite books and was struck by the way their worlds of the past seemed to reflect the "dismal chaos" of
