There probably aren't what you are thinking... we're not talking amphibious aircraft, but rather boats in water so clear that it looks like they aren't even floating. Beautiful pictures, and I found the fact that there were multiple "out there" fascinating.

Summer just started out a bit early for me as our group of Filipino travel and photography bloggers were treated to a weekend in Boracay by Microtel Boracay, SEAIR and Zuzuni Boracay.
The most convenient way of going to Boracay from Manila would have to be by plane. You can either take a flight from the [...]

If there is one Google product you had to have, it would be Google Earth. I thought everyone had heard of Google Earth, but I was talking to some folks recently who'd never heard it! I like the program so much that I wanted to be sure to mention it.The family has used it countless times. My kids are geography experts now. I have used it to map our travels, and my husband likes to look at air bases around the world. It is truly an amazing program. You can find anywhere in the world (even your property). I love looking at other countries and cities, like the city of Amsterdam in Holland with its gorgeous canal system, and the Thames in London.Google Earth has many other features besides looking at the earth's surface. You can skew your view to look across (it's a little cheesy looking because it's computer generated, but the Grand Canyon and Rocky Mountains still looked neat). You can zoom all the way out and spin the earth with your mouse cursor (fun). You can track your journeys, as Goo
Normally speaking you need to book travel well in advance to get the bargain prices but that’s strictly true only for the very peak of the peak periods and outside that there are often unexpected bargains around if you know where and how to look.
What about the location? Well, if you’re not especially set on [...]

Hoho, always enjoy watching crazy moments in this game. Halo 3 is still the best game on X360 ;) Here we see an explosion that leads to an enormous flying trip. Looks fun, and nice that they manage to hit that bunker.

He is one of my favourite magician. I saw him doing magic since i was a small kid. I still love to see his trick. In this video, he perform the flying magic trick or in the magic world known as levitation. The show is so good and well done by David, until now i still like it. I know some people skeptical were about magic, but they should know that magic is just an illusion, a trick. There's no voodoo what so ever things in magic. All people can perform magic, including me. Here's the clip:Hope you like it. Enjoy. :)
Just as student pilots train on simulators, you can photograph flying birds before trying to tackle real aircraft. ONE of our readers, Jasmine from Malta, wrote to me asking about photographing aircraft at an air show. I couldn’t help her the first time she enquired about shooting fireworks and now, I am sad to say that I have never shot an air show before. But, thinking back, I did remember taking some photos of seagulls in mid-flight. This may not compare with state-of-the-art fighter aircraft zooming across the sky but the fundamentals of shooting both are similar. Recently, I was invited to Japan by Nikon to witness the launch of their new DSLRs (Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras) and part of the trip was a tour to their high-tech manufacturing facilities in Sendai city where we watched brand new Nikon D3 cameras roll off the production line. It was like watching precision Swiss timepieces being assembled (come to think of it, I haven't witnessed that either but have seen it on

Looks like we're ready to head off to Moscow. Plane reservations and hotel/apt are booked and set in stone. My visa came back from the Russian Consulate without any problems.
Our Apartment on the Arbat
We ended up renting an apartment right in the City Center, Novy Arbat Street. This way, we now have the choice of whether we want to eat out or in. As well, they are providing free wireless internet, free unlimited international calling to the USA, and free satellite TV. It's about a seven minute walk to the metro and a seven minute walk to the American Embassy. The Moskva river, the Russian White House and the famous pedestrian "Arbat" street is just outside the door of the building.
Now we are ironing out the schedule. Lena's parents will meet us and stay in the apartment with us while they are there. Should be a fun and interesting trip!

I have barn swallow birds in my horse barn with the reason for building nests to lay eggs for soon to be born babies. They arrive every spring then stay throughout the summer then leave again in the fall for the winter since they are migratory bird. This year it was three pairs of bird parents creating new nests in the barn along with some going back to the same nest from the previous year. Before the eggs arrive both parents will build the nest with mud, hay, feathers, hair, grasses that is collected in the beaks. I like having these birds around I got to see babies hatch have now turned into birds. With seeing them fly for the first time it was a special thing to be part of. It got crowded in the barn when all those three pairs of birds had five babies belonging to each pair. It was amazing thing seeing all these baby birds started flying it was incredible to view. These birds will swoop at intruders and other people. These birds in the barn are not scared of me at all it is almost a

In 1958 the original Flying V Guitar took the rock-and-roll world by storm. Can you believe the design is that old?
Will the new Gibson Reverse Flying V become the ultimate guitar of tomorrow? To me it looks like one of those flowers you pull out of the ground in Mario. But I think it could grow on me.
Not only was the V flipped around, notice the headstock looks like it's melting. Gibson is calling the new flying v guitar "a bold new take on a groundbreaking classic." I call it, they must have been drunk.
There doesn't seem to be a purpose behind the new style V. To me it doesn't seem to have the same edge as a "normal" flying v. Kind of wussy actually.
Let's hear from you. What type of guitarist will be using the Reverse Flying V when it's released to the public?
The folks over at the PS3 Vault were curious about just how sturdy at PS3 really is (it gets pretty dull over there sometimes) so they whammied up a stress test to put the console through its paces. They ran a PS3 for 108 hours straight in three separate operating conditions: a typical family room, the back of a freezer van, and a sauna. The test swapped between playing games and watching Blu-ray movies, with identical cycles being used in all three scenarios. Everything was kept as uniform as possible, from the order the movies were watched, to the controllers used, to the operators playing the games. So, what'd they find? Short of a few anomalies, such as the tray randomly vibrating in the family room, some sluggish playback in the freezer, and a burning smell in the sauna, the PS3 worked perfectly. Of course, just because their PS3 is a champ, that doesn't mean that yours will be necessarily, but it's nice to know that your console probably won't crap out should yo
My first thought was, "WHHAAAAAT?! drunk astronauts flying a great big ship around up there in space?!!!!!! What would happen if they hit the wrong switch on one of their computers and ended up crashing into a meteor or something?
Isn't there enough trouble with malfunctioning space ship equipment without adding substance abuse into the mix? This is really ludicrious, and I'm sure that you'll agree.
We wouldn't want to get into a bus with an intoxicated driver or into an airplane with a pilot who was wasted on some kind of substance, would we? So wouldn't it make sense to extend these same rules of safety to the outer stratosphere? Yes indeed, you bet it would and NASA, this is quite embarrassing.
I hope it is thoroughly investigated and dealt with appropriately.

This is just ridiculous...Charges against an Asheville couple mark the first use of a 90-year-old North Carolina law on desecration of the American flag since the Vietnam War era, a state court official said Thursday. this despite the fact that anyone who remotely pays attention knows the Supreme Court says it is perfectly legal to desecrate the flag. for this reason alone the deputy should be punished, the case dropped and damages payed to the Kuhns. This is what comes from changing protect and serve to telling police their job is to control civilians. The Kuhns, who where hanging an upside-down American flag with signs attached to it on their front porch, said they flew the flag to protest the state of the country. An upside-down flag is recognized as a distress signal. The Kuhns said the signs pinned to the flag were to explain why they were displaying the flag upside down along with a photo of President Bush with “out now” written on it.Sheriff’s reports show Scarborough, 25, t

Everyone has probably heard the oldest scare tactic in the book to get people to believe in God. It goes something like this: If you believe in God, and it turns out there is not one, nothing is lost upon death; however, if you do not believe in God, and it turns out there is one, you will suffer eternal damnation in Hell. I wonder why Creationists don’t apply that thinking to the issue of Global Warming? If one acts like there is Global Warming, and there is not, nothing is lost; however, if there is Global Warming, and one does nothing to stop it, we are all damned to an ice age and massive deaths!
I absolutely hate the craziness of some Creationists. They seem to think that people cannot destroy the Earth because before that time all who have been saved by Jesus will be taken off to paradise. (I guess Global Warming is just for the “left behinds.")
What I find most ironic is that most hard-lined Creationis
