Don't get me wrong, I'm all for recycling, but it's the process I'm not so thrilled about. For bottles and newspapers things are fairly simple, but there is a whole grey area that makes knowing what is appropriate for recycling more complicated. The Barcode Trashcan offers a high tech solution that utilizes the product barcode to help sort and separate items. Many recyclables feature a number

Oh my Gawd was today a blast or what? I swear being at the top of the shit list is soooo much fun. I am being micro managed and being told not to be "petulant" to my boss. He actually had the nerve to tell me that. The man who belittles you for any small infraction, who says he doesn't care if one of our employees "drops dead right now". The same one who tells the Managers, that the next in

This game really makes me smile sometimes, seeing videos like this with people being so incredible lucky with their plasma grenade throws. I know I would get pretty annoyed when people do this to me playing online.. I never am lucky when it comes to grenade throws myself: \ Have fun watching this.
When you talk about sports fitness, what comes first in your mind? It is, basically, the different sports activities, right? This is because sports fitness has always been referred to as the sports itself. Generally, sports entail physical activities that are usually carried out for some “recreational” functions such as self-satisfaction, entertainment, competition, etc. It uses physical activity that is why most fitness experts regard sports as one way of staying fit and healthy. It can also be considered as one way of physical fitness; the only difference is that sports fitness is more inclined to the development of skill or ability. However, like physical fitness, sports fitness is also capable of toning down the body fats of a person. Because of its rigid and strict health program, a sports enthusiast is able to maintain a well-balanced lifestyle in order to cope up with the strenuous demands of sports. In sports, people should learn how to value their health. Otherwise
Writing can be a fun way to make some extra money. When I was just a hobby writer, I wrote reviews for furniture sites. I love writing reviews. One thing, it introduced me to the wonderful world of online shopping. I wrote some amazing reviews for bedrooms. You can buy a $10 000 bedroom set for under $4000. The bedroom sets are the same quality, and even made by the same manufacturer. The only difference is the manufacturer ships the bedroom set to you instead of to a store. We are going to wait until we can buy a sofa set, bedrooms, and our bed bunk kid style for my daughter. Then we will get a shipping discount. THe fun part about writing reviews is that you get to shop online, so you have something to review. I thank companies such as furniturefromhome.com making it 'fun' to write reviews. Here's some more video I've been holding onto for a while and now have finally had time to get it processed and posted. Here Whit and I are playing with a sword-throwaway from jodo. Legend has it that Draeger could break sword blades with techniques like this - I guess by driving them into the ground. I'm a long way away from that sort of ability. And yes, I really do get a kick out of beating up on poor little kids - at least on this one. Whit would have probably kept coming back for more all evening long but I seem to remember it being about a million degrees outside that day.
Nowadays people make fun of everything. Religion, race, the president; they all get made fun of!Actually, there is one thing I noticed that doesn't get made fun of. Bodybuilders. Why? Is it because if you make fun of them they will kick your butt and leave you in the hospital for months?Don't feel bad, I'm scared too!!But I don't think that's the main reason. I believe bodybuilder jokes just plain suck. Try this one out.Two Bodybuilders were having a fight outside a nightclubone of them tore off a car exhaust pipe and tried to ram it down the throat of the other builder. "This is what I call the pre-exhaust principle."*cough*..... *crickets chirping in background*LAME!!!That's one more mystery solved! I guess comedians should just stick to what they do best.**Oh and I just wanted to add that I didn't mean to be racist or whatever by posting this joke. Just humor was intended!

I'd like to share this earth-shattering news with you: David Hasselhoff (of Knight Rider and Baywatch fame) has come out with a classic new music video that should not be missed. How did I find out about it? I saw a dynamically generated link to it from Google Related Links at the bottom of my blog. (And I've found some other gems that way that have to wait for another post.)Let me give you what the MBAs call the 8-second elevator pitch (our buildings are not very tall around here) on Google Related Links. The idea is you surf over to http://www.google.com/relatedlinks/ and start creating a Google Related Links unit for your site. You pick the color, size, and types of content (related news, videos, searches, web pages) that you want to appear in this Related Links unit, and then copy the JavaScript over to your site just as you would do for an AdSense ad unit. Google crawlers will then crawl your site, see what type of content is there, and then dynamically show links in the unit that

Fun Budget Vacation Ideas
When most people think of a fun vacation the following words don’t usually come to mind: cheap, economical, inexpensive, low cost, budget, practical. However, I’m here to tell you that you can have a great time on vacation and still not empty the emergency fund or have to finance a vacation.
My friend Rich had a very delightful Menspace last night. The weather was not the greatest, but quite a few made it into town. I met the couple that is hosting Pizza and Porn next month, and they also expressed...
I've had a few referrals to TWFE today that made me smile.Someone found TWFE using the search term "Rob Parker Detroit retarded." Turns out I'm the first 2 hits under that search, and the 3rd is a Parker interview that refers to my insults, but pulled a Jerry Green, and didn't mention the blog.I'm guessing the functionally retarded one is appearing this week on the 4 letter's morning shitfest First Pizza, or Cold Take, whatever in the Hell they are calling the show that no one watches now. I always get a spike in Parker haters (Such as searching "Rob Parker ESPN" or "Parker 1st and Ten") whenever he turns up on ESPN matching a lack of wits with Skip Bayless. I'm just glad to know that I'm not alone...Someone from West Virgina found their way to TWFE with the following search... "federal agents investigating Rodriguez betting on pitt game" HA! That's absolutely hysterical! Turns out I'm 2nd on Google for those looking for info on RichRod's nefarious dealings with bookies. In fact, TWFE i

I love to torture my husband. I know that sounds terrible, but it's true. Nothing fills me with glee quite like putting Rob in situations where he is out of his element. Last weekend, we took a long overdue and much deserved mini-vacation to Ambergris Caye, Belize. Somehow, I managed to cram my husband into a run down bus, a tiny puddle jumper and a budget level hotel room...all in the course of just five short days. Joy! Despite our best effforts we embarked on the first leg of our journey three hours later than we had "planned". The drive to Chetumal was easy and uneventful. It's about 4 hours from Playa to the Belizean boarder (moving along at a pretty good clip). We snuck our car in the parking lot in the back of the Coco's Hotel and caught a cab to the crossing. The immigration/customs process is kind of a nusance. First, one must stop before crossing the bridge into Belize and have your documents checked which, in our case, means both our US passp

This is the most fascinating optical illusion I've seen. It's supposedly a way to tell if you're using more of your right brain or left brain but I'm not sure about that. It is interesting that I've been able, with just my mind, to control the direction of the girl's spin.
This post is from my Math blog where I post fun stuff to get 5 Zoom(s)
Your erratic correspondent may have been away from the keyboard, but he has been keeping an eye on the goings. This aging body hasn't seen the likes of this season since possibly, and briefly, the tragic 1968 campaign. Even then, many fewer eyes were focused on the contest, and even they had not bothered to turn their gaze until much, much later. It's probably fair to say that more people have cared longer about the 2008 contest than any ever before. While a large part of the interest is issue-driven, I am crediting something else entirely -- if not the re-bloom of democracy, at least the whiff of its flower. The popular interest has been there through polls suggesting the leading issue to be Iraq, and then Health Care, and then Iraq, then Health Care, and now (and likely through November) the economy (it's always the economy). These critical issues, addressed with some certain measure of difference by the two parties, has no doubt contributed to the unprecedented long attention sp
Commentary by William Pesek Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- As economists buzz about a Japanese recession, officials in Tokyo are racing to assign blame. An unfolding global slowdown is the most mentioned excuse. Fallout from the U.S. subprime debacle is a close second. Surging oil prices also are being held up as an ominous force imperiling Japanese prosperity. Yet if the second-biggest economy contracts this year, it will have only itself to blame. The list of self-inflicted wounds includes clumsy policies that over the last 12 months slammed Japan's construction and consumer-lending industries and a pension scandal that dented household confidence. Those missteps, as damaging as they were, pale in comparison with the biggest failing: Complacency. Officials in Tokyo have done little to make this recovery self-reinforcing, leaving Japan highly vulnerable to slowing global growth. Japan is hardly alone in shooting its economy in the foot. Ten years after the Asian crisis, for example, the region

Lines from supper tonight than wasn't an endurance test, like some meals are:Leon was frustrating that his rice got in his fruit. We all heard Rand say, "Are you, like, Hmong or something? You have to have your food separated."I ask, What do you mean? What does being Hmong (which Leon is) have to do with separating your food?" You know, Monk, the guy on TV. He has that thing where his food has to be separated.-------------------Jimmy mentions it is trash removal tomorrow morning. He is confused because with the holidays we missed it last week and there is more trash than our four cans can hold. We tell him he needs to fill the four full and then put the trash in the empty cans. He gets confused, wondering how he is supposed to get the stuff back out to the street. The whole family participates in a conversation and almost has him convinced that he need to sleep by the trash cans all night long in a sleeping back so that when the truck comes he can say -- just a minute -- and

As much as I enjoy fantasy soccer, it feels incomplete somehow. The addictive rush that other fantasy sports (American football and baseball, notably) supply just isn't there. Don't get me wrong, it's good fun and all. But something is missing.Part of this is, of course, the very nature of the game itself. Soccer does simply not lend itself to statistical analysis the way many other sports do. Moreover, the statistics we do have (goals, assists and clean sheets, essentially) provide a very incomplete picture, both of an individual player's skill and his contribution to the team. For example, a goalkeeper could have a great match and his team could win 2-1, but he would not get credit for having a clean sheet. Or a striker could get a tap-in goal, or capitalize on a goalkeeper's error or blown defensive assignment and his team could lose, but fantasy owners would still benefit. Or a defender could score a goal, assist another, but blow off marking assignments and cost his team two goals
