Viet Nam Vets against John McCain
Presidential candidate John McCain denied that the Soviets interrogated U.S. POWs in Vietnam. But, former U.S., Soviet, and Vietnamese intelligence [...]
WND - As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.
In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute [...]
At the CPAC convention Ron Paul took the time to lay into John McCain for basically the same things that many conservatives have been saying.
Presidential hopeful Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) told conservatives gathered here on Thursday that the Republican Party is “acting too much like Democrats,” especially the party’s frontrunner Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).
“If you think he [...]
...has begun. I'm not posting the video. I'm not saying it's bad, but I haven't served in the military so I'm not going to judge him on his military service. I will judge him on his public service, and that is why I'm 90% sure I won't be voting for him. h/t: LGF
Transcript of John McCain’s Speech at CPAC - February 7th, 2008.
Thank you. Thank you for inviting me. It’s been a little while since I’ve had the honor of addressing you, and I appreciate very much your courtesy to me today. We should do this more often. I hope you will pardon my absence last year, [...]

McCain, too liberal, too close to the Dems…
McCain claims he’s ‘concerned’ with border security and ILLEGALS but doesn’t truly support a strong borders movement…

Well it's almost time for Super Tuesday February 5th here in the States when on many occasions presidential candidates win or loose the Presidential election. This year it has been somewhat challenging to pick the best candidate. If I could pick or choose elements of each candidate to pick the best candidate I would but unfortunely I can't.It will be very difficult for me to recommend a democratic candidate this year for several reasons. In regards to Israel do we really want a Bill Clinton back trying to broker a bad peace deal in order to complete his legacy. Barak Obama I am concerned about some of his advisors who may tend to have a more pro Arab spin. Both candidates I support their views on healthcare which changes are sorely needed in this country. But also I have some real issues their views on illegal immigration. On the republican side Mitt Romney seems to have had some success in trying to solve the health care crises in Massachusetts, although there were some
I was surfing through the blogs this morning and I came across this post on Stuck On Stupid that I found rather interesting.
In Florida John McCain tried foolishly to link words that Mitt Romney spoke to Romney’s support of timetables for withdrawal from Iraq. This was a bold faced lie and he was called out on it [...]
Juan Hernandez, the man who served in Vicente Fox’s cabinet when the latter was president of Mexico, is now advising Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)
Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Doesn’t this let you know where John McCain stands on illegal immigration? The problem is that most Republican voters know where John [...]
John McCain was exposed as being a liar last night in the Republican debate. He was called on his excuse for opposing the Bush tax cuts by Anderson Cooper. he has been stating during this campaign he opposed the Bush tax cuts because they didn’t reign in government spending. I call bullshit. We know, as [...]
To all you John McCain supporters out there:
It’s obvious you don’t care about illegal immigration, or you wouldn’t vote for McCain and his amnesty policy. It’s obvious you don’t care about conservative supreme court nominations, or you wouldn’t vote for the man who has blocked the most conservative appellate court nominations of president Bush. It’s [...]
There is of course his very Liberal voting record in the Senate. Need I mention the legislation he has sposored with far left Senators in the Senate? McCain- Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, and McCain-Edwards just off the top of my head Now there is some more current issues. Remember he was part of the gang of nine that blocked the Republican Party from changing Senate rules used to filibuster Presidential judicial nominees?..Now, the New York Times has endorsed John McCain and Hillary Clinton for the GOP and Democratic presidential nominations, respectively. In the endorsements, to run in Friday’s edition, The Times highlighted each candidate’s perceived ability to undo what it called the harm of the Bush administration. We have strong disagreements with all the Republicans running for president. The leading candidates have no plan for getting American troops out of Iraq. They are too wedded to discredited economic theories and unwilling even now to break with the legacy of President Bush
John McCain is the candidate for the Republican Party in the 2008 election. Talk in the news about him not being a hero by some people that don’t like him. The history behind this situation is he was the in the United States Navy. During the Vietnam War become a prisoner of war for over five years and it was hell for him. He was released in 1973. Anyway, certain people have been calling him not a hero and other not so nice comments. My comments on this are what he went through at that time does make him a hero. That was a hard thing to go through in his life being captured like that. Him surviving this to become a senator along with a presidential candidate for United States of America very much makes him a hero in my eyes. - Books John McCain
I've made fun of Ron Paul's pathetic showings in Iowa, Wyoming, New Hampshire and Michigan, running at 7 percent or below, but I have to admit that his second place finish in Nevada is an achievement worthy of remark. At almost 14 percent, it almost doubles his previous performances.
While endorsements don't usually matter much. One of the real great leaders in the Senate Tom Coburn from Oklahoma endorsed John McCain for President. Coburn has been the most consistent deficit hawk and for me this is the most import
I am very into this election of watching everything I can with learning about candidates. I am independent voter who will be voting for a democrat in the election of 2008. On the democratic side, I am not sure whom I will vote for I like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. I am very interested in both sides of the race with candidates is important to watch. Winner of republican John McCain does not surprise me I don’t know if he will be the final nominee. Never know I guess he is better qualified than the others in that party are. Democrat Hillary Clinton winning over Barack Obama so now they both won one. Those two candidates will be fighting it out until someone is the final nominee. I think it will be interesting to watch the next caucus I do like them both equally. I do like Hillary I think she would make a good president she is very smart and has been in white house before being first lady. I also think Barack Obama would be a great president too. I really like him is a great can
I almost wrote the polar opposite of this article: John McCain, Surgin’ Back? He has a lot of bipartisan support, plenty of endorsements, was right about the surge, and is a solid conservative. The only thing missing is his unpopular immigration position and funds. But that’s the thing: McCain will never succeed because of his immigration position. His poll numbers have been rising, sure, but as I’ve argued before, Republicans have no dream candidate. They are going through “fads”, almost. But there’s an even broader issue here: immigration is showing up to be the most decisive primary election issue, more decisive than the Iraq war and terrorism even. One reason for this is that all candidates have expressed their positions on the war, and it’s turned out to be a matter of Republican or Democrat; Republicans want to stay (excluding Ron Paul), and Democrats want to leave. There’s more than that: illegal immigration, many Americans feel, is actually affecting them on almost
the McCain for President campaign began openly courting the support of John Hagee and his cadre of right wing supporters. McCain announced that he would make a surprise speech before Hagee's pro-Armageddon organization, Christians United for Israel. John Hagee introduced John McCain himself, and then the two men hugged, signaling political allegiance.
The recent endorsement of John McCain for the presidency by Senator Joseph Lieberman raises many issues for Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Joe Lieberman, although losing the Democratic nomination last fall, ran as an Independent but promised Democrats he would vote and serve as a Democrat if elected. The decision to back his good friend, John [...]
This is a bit of a surprise for me. The Boston Herald has endorsed John McCain. The Boston Herald is a conservative leaning paper, they are the answer to the Boston Globe. I thought that they would be loyal to the former governor, Mitt Romney. This is two major newspaper endorsements, if newspaper endorsements still [...]
The New Hampshire Union Leader is reporting that former Democrat turned Independent Joe Lieberman will endorse John McCain tomorrow. The paper is also announcing the two will be on the Today Show on NBC, and then will be at a town hall meeting together in Hillsborough, NH.
You can read the Union Leader acticle here.

Yesterday I read in the Union Leader that in the Sunday edition of the Union Leader that they would endorse a candidate for president. Well, they have endorsed John McCain. I have to say I am a little surprised. I had a gut feeling that they would endorse Mitt Romney. I knew [...]
Speaking before a meeting of the Presidents of Major american Jewish Organizations, Senator John McCain trotted out typical Republican scare tactics to gain support for the Bush Iraq war. He warned if the United States withdrew from Iraq, the terrible Iranians would step in to fill the void. “All of the conflicts in the [...]
Paris Hilton has a better chance at winning the Nobel peace prize for pictures of her cooz than John McCain has for winning the presidency. He's pissed off the right with the immigration reform bill that he co-authored with his butt buddy Teddy Kennedy, and he's pissed off the left with his continued support of president bush and the war in Iraq. The latter has caused donors to be weary and his war chest has suffered. As if all this wasn't bad enough two of his top aids have packed up and quit. The bitter stench of death is starting to surround the McCain camp, or maybe its just that old man smell.-O.T.Technorati Profile
John McCain is a hero. He is a good man. I do not always agree with him but I do admire him. He should get out now. His campaign is out of money and he just fired his top advisers. He is really brave so he might stay in
John McCain often drives me crazy. Yet, I have really admired how he has campaigned the last month. He is taking the campaign seriously by making big speeches about big issues. I hope all the other Republicans pick up his lead.
