The last couple of days have been tense. On Wednesday I finally sold the car but it turns out I didn’t have all the documents, so I had to go to the police and state that I "lost" them and then had to go to the car registry office so the buyer is the legal [...]
Seriously y’all, with both Playboy and Victoria’s Secret throwing Superbowl parties, I’m pretty sure the tightest ends were not on the field. Yeah that pun sucked, I know. Anyway, the truth is that I’m too girlie-girl to have watched or understood a second of the game last night, but rather what I [...]
John McCain was exposed as being a liar last night in the Republican debate. He was called on his excuse for opposing the Bush tax cuts by Anderson Cooper. he has been stating during this campaign he opposed the Bush tax cuts because they didn’t reign in government spending. I call bullshit. We know, as [...]

So I’ve written before about how much I love my upstairs neighbors.
I’ve talked all big and bad about how I was going to call the sheriff the next time they were loud.
Last night I finally did it.
A couple of weeks ago, the neighbors got Rock Band. We know this because we saw them getting [...]

but somehow it never published.Mike called last night saying he wanted to come by and get some stuff. Ironically he was mellow, pleasant.. fine.I told him that I wanted him to take everything -- that if he came in and out it was too disturbing because we never knew if he was going to steal something. He took everything OK.I had to follow him around making sure extras were not stolen. The whole thing makes me sad.But otherwise, things have gone well. A very smooth transition to being back together. Of course, none of the five kids we left here could touch the washing machine or dryer.... so I have mounds of laundry to do, but otherwise the house was clean for hte most part and there were no bad reports. We're all back together again.
We were converting a small food bank last night, and I came to a point where I was running something that was pretty much "watching the dots go across the screen." I had felt bad that I hadn't been able...

I'm not exactly sure why "the natives were restless" when John Edwards merely pointed out an inconsistency between what Senator Clinton said on two different occasions about the same issue, but I have a pretty good idea why Wolf "So Poor And So Black" (remember that one?) Blitzer was trying to hurry up Edwards and not let him finish what he was trying to say.Anyway, I thought you'd like to take a look (and to help, click here).
Last night was fun. I was nervous for nothing. I'm glad. The people my husband works with are very nice and I made friends and it was a very pleasant evening. I wasn't uncomfortable or anything. So I'm looking at it as a learning experience. I think my mind runs away with thoughts or fears that are based on the way I feel physically. I "feel" strange so I'm afraid I'll come off as strange. I think I learned last night that I'm not strange. I'm ok and thats a good feeling to have back. :)Happy DayArizonaEarthshines.com

Britney Spears has been getting so much criticism for her performance last night on VMAs on MTV to be honest I felt bad for her. One good thing about it I actually liked the song it was catchy and I thought her body looked hot. I am not going to criticize her as everyone else is doing. However, I will say that she is a wonderful person she just going through something right now. Like everyone in life, we all go through struggles the good and bad but hers are being watched twenty-four hours a day. Instead of doing all dance songs she should change as an artist do more quality stuff I think she should write some songs. She needs a good friend in her life to be a genuine friend. I know it is very unlikely Britney would ever find my blog. However, if she ever needed a real friend I will be a true friend to her. As a friend I would say to her things will get better just do what is best for your children and yourself be the best mom you can be. You have a good heart along with that you dese
I thought the night had ended well, but then I was online and saw some things that disappointed us about one of our children. How's that for vague? But it's an ongoing issue with this particular child, so we had a lengthy discussion about it and thus went to bed later than planned. Combined with this and the fact that Mike has also seen Salinda, in addition to his confrontation with Rand, bring us back into reality. Not only so, but we began a series of lasts. Last time we woulc go to sleep together without kids to put to bed first for quite some time. Last time I could lie in bed until I wanted to get up for months probably. We're getting ready to have brunch out alone, another one that won't happen again for who knows how long. And we aren't going to be in church this morning -- which is something that happens once every 4 or 5 years... trying to balance the guilt with the logistics ... I don't know how some people simply choose not to go some weeks. I'm feeling like ma
Right before bed last night, I showed Tony the application "Photo Booth" on my MacBook Pro and all that it can do with the built in camera. We had a great time. He's loud laugh was contagious and I felt like a naughty child giggling with him as we disturbed his father who was trying to concentrate. This morning he woke up with the same "I'M NOT GOING" mantra as he does every time we have no other plans for him than to participate in an actvity. Bart's Fletcher Fabulous Fun Day activity is already underway and it's only 8 a.m.I am going to be working doing a training all day long and then have to provide ride for someone later tonight, so I will be working about 12 hours tody. Not exactly a Fabulous Fun Day for me, but I'll not get started on another whine fest.I have many things I could blog, but don't have the time this morning, so I'll just post these silly pictures and get on with my day.
Last night in my dream, Bart and I were in the airport going to go out of state for something. We were in a hurry and we needed to get on the plane. For some reason, we went into the same bathroom and trying to be helpful, I grabbed his briefcase out of the stall where he was and started carrying it. We got separated in the airport and I tried to call his cell, only to hear it ringing in his briefcase.I started to panic, realizing we were separated and couldn't find each other. At the end of the dream, I was on an escalator and accidentally tripped a guy who went summersaulting down the escalator, getting several head injuries along the way. I was worried I had killed him, but wasn't sure that I should take time to find out because I was going to miss my airplane.I was having terrible concerns about him dying and it being in the paper and everyone wondering if it was me who killed him.I was glad again to wake up.Wouldn't Freud have fun with me?
I have departed Feverville and am slowly inching my way out of Snot Gulch. YuckMy stomach drops everytime I see this commercial for Propel in which the chick is riding a bike. When she reaches the end of the street and her and the bike drop to the street below....yikes. Amazing how the camera work puts you right in the moment. What gives with some of those uglee dresses Debbie Matenopoulos is wearing on The Daily 10 lately? She's usually dressed so cool and fresh looking, but damn, some of those dresses are frumpy grandma dresses. I always have to smile when I see Debbie on tv. She really fooled the people from The View with HER staying power, didn't she?I bet they thought she'd disappear from sight once Barbara gave her the heave ho. I was reading the gossip blogs and came across this little gem of wisdom from Paris Hilton's mom after she visited Paris in jail:"The jails need financial help, and it's very sad to see what's going on in there. I always believe that where there's a
Cavs 98, Pistons 82. Meet the new boss, not near the same as the old boss. The Cavs were the better team, without question, and deserve to move on. The Pistons, on the other hand, embarrassed themselves. The game was far from over when Rasheed Wallace channeled his "Jailblazers" persona, and went batshit insane. You could sense his frustration, as Sideshow Bob's flopping was out of control. Yet, the officials continued to buy into it. The final flop, giving Wallace his 5th foul, was the flop that broke 'Sheeds' head. I haven't seen a player get under another's skin so thoroughly since Bill Laimbeer abused the mind and body of Kevin Duckworth in the 1990 NBA finals.'Sheed let flopsy, the referees, and the crowd get to him. All to the point where he took down James with malice, fouling out in the process, and then blowing up with the power of a 10 megaton atomic bomb. The game, and series, ended when 'Sheed threw in the towel, and went berserk. Not that having Wallace the rest of
Please try to keep the noise down, folks -- uncle Nathan has a hangover... a printing hangover. To be honest, I'm really not sure how it happened. Let me think... yup, okay, I remember leaving the "InkIsIt" offices, then heading home to print a couple documents. On my way home, my ol' college buddy Lars called me saying he was in town on business and wanted to use my printer to print a presentation he was giving entitled "The Pillow Industry and Today: Kill or Be Killed". Naturally, I said, "No problem, Lars -- come on over", but next thing you know we're printing copy after copy and we can't stop. At one point, I even had to go buy another expensive ink cartridge so we could keep printing. Well, it comes as no surprise that I woke up this morning feeling awful, not to mention my wallet is empty and now I have to find a side job.Goes to show, folks -- make sure to always print responsibly.Ugh,Nathan
