Whenever we send out a newsletter to our B&B people, we always get a number of e-mails returned with errors.
Now, in some cases it’s because the owners have sold up and moved on but in surprisingly high number of cases it’s because they’ve changed their e-mail address and not told us. In fact, when you [...]

Do you receive countless e-mails on a daily basis? Are some of those e-mails interesting, important or just something you would like to come back to later? If so, wouldn't you like to categorize them, without having to mark them as Old, Keep As New, Unmark, Unread, etc.? Or, what if you accidentally deleted some of them? Or, even worse, lose them. I mean, who has time to deal with all of that?!Well, now you can make new folders to manage and organize all of your e-mails. That way, you won’t have to flood your Inbox and all your other folders with uncategorized e-mail. Cool, huh?!For instance, I made a folder called "WorldStart" for all of their articles and updates. I put all of the articles and newsletters I receive from WorldStart in that folder. That way, I don’t have to go searching for them in all of my other e-mail folders. I can go right to that folder and find everything I need. It’s all in one place! So, if that sounds like something you'd like to do as well, keep readin
The Daily Mail frets over the world we have made in Britain, chewing away at the edges of the nasty side of the country. How can everything be so bad, it wonders? Why are people so terrible?Perhaps part of the answer might lay in the spiteful nature of the media. As evidenced by, say, the approach taken to Tom Jones' wife in today's Mail.Melinda Woodward suffers from agoraphobia, and leads a quiet and blameless life with Tom in their big, paid-for home. Apparently, the Mail believes this is something which requires an expose of some sort:It IS unusual ...the weird world of Mrs Tom Jones, not your typical Hollywood wifeWhat follows is a nasty mixture of sneering and unsubtle attempts to turn the woman into a freakshow. What makes it even worse is the writer, Paul Scott, cheerfully admits he knows what the pointless article is going to do the woman:Friends say she has also come to dread going out in public because she fears she is being gossiped and sniggered about because of Tom's formi

A Days Inn property offers a Roman Catholic priest a tax refund. No, that's not the opening line of a joke -- unless playing phone tag and hearing excuses is funny to you. It isn't to Father William Mary Morgenstern, who is just trying to get his $42 back from the hotel. But is anyone listening to him?

The Daily Mail is outraged - outraged - at the discovery that Jools Holland's Hootenanny isn't actually live at all, but prerecorded. It's found some people who have managed to get through the last twenty years or whatever it is believing that all those people have nothing better to do on News Year's Eve than sit around watching Jools play boogie-woogie piano, and it feels their pain:It meant the Hootenanny was riddled with anomalies that left many people baffled and angry. And it came at the end of year in which the BBC was embroiled in controversy over faked programmes misleading the public. But who's actually "mislead" by this? Frankly, the programme never sets out to decieve - as the list of "anomalies" the Mail lists demonstrates. It suggests that having Kylie on the programme while she was in Melbourne on New Years Eve, and David Tennant while he was elsewhere, was a "mistake" which revealed the programme was on tape, rather than just an indication of who was around at the time it
Investigators in Pakistan have thoroughly discussed the contents of an e-mail which Benazir Bhutto wrote to close American friend Mark Siegel, and have decided to include it as apart of their probe. Benazir wrote to Siegel two months ago, saying that if she was harmed in Pakistan she would ''hold Musharraf responsible as she felt insecure by Musharraf’s minions, that specific improvements had not been made to her security arrangements.” “The investigators had also planned to go through another e-mail by Benazir in which she had written to Musharraf before the October 18, 2007 attack, naming prominent Government officials who could be held responsible if anything happened to her,” the sources added. The investigation team headed by Additional Inspector General of Police Abdul Majeed, said investigators had studied Benazir’s e-mail to Siegel and would examine everything that could help them in finding a clue to the culprits. The Readers' Forum is The Post-Journal's daily Letters to the Editor section.Today my name popped up in a letter from a concerned reader. It's not the first time my name's appeared in the Readers' Forum, but it's been a while since someone's taken issue with me/my work to blast me in a letter. This stuff used to happen regularly when I wrote my late night column for the Dunkirk OBSERVER. I can take the complaints. My skin's pretty thick. A night when many choose to go out and socialize and frequent late night establishments.Thanksgiving Eve Bar Coverage Is In Poor Taste12/18/2007 - To the Readers’ Forum: For me the Thanksgiving holiday ushers in a time for family, charitable giving and special religious services. Do you know that you can resize the picture attachment in Outlook 2007 new mail before you send? Outlook 2007 has the option but that is hidden. I don't even notice until my Jennifer pointed me out yesterday. Outlook 2007 buried this feature in their new introduction of Ribbon.Resizing picture attachments before sending the mail is very nice to the people who use Outlook 2007 as their main mail clients (I know there are a lot of people including myself). So here is the procedure.First attach the pic as you normally would. And then click the insert tab, after that click on the option button as in the following pic.You will get the attachment options dialog box as in the pic below.Choose the size you want to resize. That's it! No more Paint or Photoshop to resize the pic attachment and no more trouble sending big photos.

FYI for those of you using Whypark, check the latest e-mail from Craig regarding Friday's server upgrade. The upgrade is due to them purchasing space on some new data centers, and high end servers. This should hopefully help with the occasional time outs on the sitemap validation check you see in the Google Webmasters section. From the e-mail:We are migrating to a new data center with new, upgraded servers and more bandwidth. The Domain Manager will be offline on Friday, December 21st, 2007 from 7:30am - 9:30am EST. Your sites will remain online during this migration. If you use our nameservers (ns1.whypark.com and ns2.whypark.com) you will not need to do anything. We're not entirely sure if we've read it correctly, but it does seem that todya's Cher and Chastity Bono story in today's Mail consists of nothing other than the observation that "Cher is thin, but her daughter isn't."They try to dress it up with a quote from an "onlooker":Cher and Chastity shared a really relaxed meal and both seemed on excellent form. Mother and daughter are clearly very close as they spent most of the hour laughing and chatting away like there was no tomorrow.Doesn't "like there's no tomorrow" usually mean something along the lines of "relentlessly, as if time to complete against an immovable deadline"? Can you actually have a relaxed lunch like there's no tomorrow?

In resolving a connectivity problem on Monday morning, it appears my hosting service managed to disable inbound mail access to our main inbound mail server. 24 hours and many, many phone calls later it's now, finally, back up and running - so if you mailed us yesterday and it bounced, sorry - please try again. Outbound email for subscribers was not affected and newsletters and broadcasts have been going out as per normal.

I have been using Yahoo! Mail for last four to five years. I first started using it when they offered 4 MB of storage. It grew to few hundreds MB and then to 1GB and now they provide unlimited storage. Not only the storage impressed me their user friendly interface and ability to read RSS easily and closer look to MS Outlook, possibility to synchronize are features I really enjoy. This is a great example to show how fast the internet and e-commerce is expanding. But this is not why I am making this note on my blog today. When yahoo mail launched its new Beta test you might have found it loaded very slowly and took long time before we can do anything. Later it was fixed and on their blog they share how. I think this is an application of lean thinking (whether they knew it or not) in software development.According the blog initially yahoo mail tried loading every feature when it is launched on the browser. So it had to take lot of time in loading. But later they have broken down the loadi

Click2Mail has launched RemindSanta.com, a new Web site that allows anyone to have Santa Claus send a personalized letter via the U.S. Mail and simultaneously support one of the nation's premier holiday charities, Toys for Tots.Using an intuitive web-based application developed by Click2Mail -- an affiliate partner of the U.S. Postal Service and creator of a leading online postal mailing system -- family members, relatives and friends can "remind" Santa to send a personalized letter to a child or other recipient."We have printed and mailed millions of letters and cards, but none as meaningful as these helping Toys for Tots bring joy to needy children," said Lee Garvey, President and CEO of Click2Mail. Ignore Orkut, OpenSocial, Yahoo Mash and Yahoo 360. Google and Yahoo have come up with new and very similar plans to respond to the challenge from MySpace and Facebook: They hope to turn their e-mail systems and personalized home page services (iGoogle and MyYahoo) into social networks.Web-based e-mail systems already contain much of what Facebook calls the social graph — the connections between people. That’s why the social networks offer to import the e-mail address books of new users to jump-start their list of friends. Yahoo and Google realize that they have this information and can use it to build their own services that connect people to their contacts. This has several features. First, the e-mail service is made more personal because it displays messages more prominently from people who are more important to you. Yahoo is testing a method that can automatically determine the strength of your relationship to someone by how often you exchange e-mail and instant messages with hi

According to studies, US companies annually spend about $40 billion on direct marketing via post, with half the expenditure incurring from stamps alone. Compared to sales delivered by other e-marketing methods like banner ads which cost $71.89, paid searches which cost $26.75 and affiliate programs which cost $17.47, e-mails cost less than $7. And for every dollar that marketers spend on e-mail marketing, there is an ROI of $48.29 expected.Statistics as these only go on to emphasize the efficacy of the humble e-mail which has transitioned from a personal correspondence medium to one that allows your business to add a personal touch its service. E-mail marketing thus not only reduces the advertising cost for the producer while bringing the consumer closer to the product but also serves as a branding tool for the former. 35% of e-mail users open their messages just for the subject line’s appeal. Inserting the company name in the subject line itself can increase this rate to 60%.With an

The funny little a with its tail circling back around it is probably one of the most commonly used symbols today. So it is truly amazing to learn that there is no official, universal name for it. The most accepted term, even in many other languages, is to call it the at sign. But there are dozens of different words used to describe it. A lot of languages use words that associate the shape of the symbol with some type of animal. Here are a few examples of the many exotic terms associated with the @ symbol:apestaart - Dutch for "monkey's tail"snabel - Danish for "elephant's trunk"kissanhnta - Finnish for "cat's tail"klammeraffe - German for "hanging monkey"kukac - Hungarian for "worm"dalphaengi - Korean for "snail"grisehale - Norwegian for "pig's tail"sobachka - Russian for "little dog"Before it became the standard symbol for e-mail, the @ symbol was typically used to indicate the cost or weight of something. For example, if you bought five oranges for $1.25 each, you might write it as 5

Video "E-Mail-Zustellungspflicht für Provider?" von "Law Vodcast" bei Sevenload
http://de.sevenload.com/videos/b9J1XvL/E-Mail-Zustellungspflicht-fuer-Provider
Beschreibung:
