It's called the Employer Sanctions Law and requires ALL employers to verify ALL employees are United States citizens. Buying Mexico real estate might not have been something you’ve thought much about, but why not?
After all Baja real estate starts right beside San Diego so you can easily pop over the border if there’s something that you can’t find locally although there’s a considerable support network for expats already in place so it’ll only be the more obscure things that you might find you have to take a trip to San Diego to pick up. The retirement community is growing fast and you’ll find all kinds of things from golf courses to modern medical facilities already in place.
What you’ll not find is excessive prices. Skim through Baja real estate listings and you’ll find that prices for good quality housing start from well under $200k, though the market runs right up to luxury estates costing into the millions of dollars.
