Day 38. Why do you let these ladies get to you?- Brother Dan.Because I'm human little brother. (Well, human-ish.)If I were talented enough to write a song for Milton, I would.I really would.I mean, she’s been my inspiration for SO many posts that I feel I should write her a Sonata performed in my dulcet tones.I owe her that much. Since I’m just a talent-less hack, here is an open letter to Milton, asking the whys and wherefores of her peculiar behavior. Well, not so much "asking" as chronicling the oddness that is SHE.Sorry guys, another long one. [jean knee-that's what she said!]Dear Milton,Today you spent about 2 hours looking up a phone number on whitepages.com. When I asked why you didn’t just call information, you responded the following, “They charge 40 cents for directory assistance. I don’t want the company to have to pay that when I can look up the number for free online .”Dear dear delusional Milton. While I am NOT a math wiz, I can come to obvious conclusions suc
Milton Wolff typified the type of working class political activist of whom Trotsky said Stalinism corrupted, by this he meant people who came into politics to help build a better world, ended up as an accomplice of the Gulags and the grave digger of socialism. Whilst there is undoubtedly an element of truth in Trotsky’s assessment it is far from the whole picture, for in his own way Milton Wolff was at the forefront of the fight against oppression on two continents. Whilst today the Russian Revolution is seen through the prism of Stalinism and rightly so, in the two decades which followed the Bolsheviks taking power it was seen by millions of workers throughout the world as a beacon of hope, which offered a real alternative to the heartless capitalism then prevalent in the USA and most of the world and a bulwark against the black night of fascism which was descending upon Europe. In almost every land working class men and women like Milton Wolff could be found, the success of the Bols

KIEV, Ukraine -- Of all the different planks of Yulia Tymoshenko’s campaign platform, the issue of military reform, most notably getting rid of the draft, is the one that is most likely to have the biggest effect on Ukrainians’ lives.
Yulia Tymoshenko has a battle on her hands in wanting to end the forced conscription of young Ukrainian men.
Simply put, if she is successful in ending the forced
You all have seen the latest Milton Bradley incident, with his losing all semblance of sanity while railing against the (Alleged) derogatory comments made by MLB umpire Mike Winters. The confrontation ended with Bradley shredding his ACL, ending his season, and giving the San Diego Padres' playoff chances a punch in the gut. What I've found surprising is the reaction from the masses, in that many, if not the majority of baseball fans, think Bradley got his just desserts, so to speak. Personally, I think if the allegations made by Bradley, and his first base coach Bobby Meacham, are true, then I can understand Bradley's intense anger. If this had happened to any other player than the loony, assholish Bradley, would people be so quick to say he got what he deserved? Since the reputation of Bradley is one of a hot headed asshat, many think that there is no way his reaction was justified. I mean, come on, it's Milton Bradley! He's CRAZY! But even loons can have good reason to get upset. The

Better to reign in hell, than serve in heaven.â€
