If you publish multiple newsletters, it's often desirable to have consistent branding applied to all of them, and their corresponding subscriber landing pages. To do that one at a time, however, can be tedious to manage if you have more than two or three newsletters running. To simplify multi-newsletter branding, we've brought our Master Template concept into our core Newsletter Edition services (it used to be only available for publishers on our old "Pro Plus" plan, which is no longer available to new clients). Enabling master templates delivers consistent branding and graphic design to the emails we send on your behalf, and to the subscriber-facing pages, such as the subscription form, the activation instructions, the confirmation page and unsubscribe survey. Not only does a master template simplify branding across multiple HTML email newsletters, it's also used when the multi-newsletter subscription form is displayed (without a master template the form is shown without any branding at

One of the purposes is to find and perhaps hire a few people for the construction of the Sky Sister Couture collections. I also wanted attendees in general (and perhaps even the other vendors) to get an idea of what the Studio can offer the individual and organizations. So I came up with a newsletter setup that summarizes the "who and what" of the Studio, and what the Studio is looking for. I've never been a part of a fair, so I am looking forward to it!

John and Susan Townley’s AstroCocktail publishes an excellent newsletter. The recent issue, titled “Planetary Order III: Islands in the Sky,” is about the big planetary patterns in our horoscopes. This is the last part of a three-part AstroCocktail newsletter series on how our planets line up around the horoscope. John Townley adds new depth and understanding to the basic patterns (bowl, see-saw, etc.). He writes,The overall pattern of the chart – often referred to as “Jones patterns,” after astrologer Marc Edmund Jones who first named a variety of them – will add emphasis to certain planets because of their unique positions in the overall marching order of the chart. Chart patterns are in part significant because of the way planetary order highlights or isolates certain planets and their impact, giving some more power than others around them. By definition, chart patterns become patterns (as opposed to random distribution) because they feature one or more distinct cluste

Many people ask me, “Why should I even bother creating a newsletter for my business?
The answer is pretty simple and straight forward, to keep clients happy.
There are a few things that a newsletter provides:
1. Keeps current clients involved. During the process of building your relationship with your current clients so they come back to purchase more, you need to keep them involved. One way of doing this is by sending out a newsletter to them once a month. They will recognize your business, and if they trust you, read through your newsletter.
2. Attracts new clients. There are many people who visit your webpage, but aren’t ready to purchase your product. Since they have already visited your page, you must have had something that interested them. They may not be ready to purchase right now, but many of them will sign up for your newsletter so they may purchase later. By keeping in contact with them, they will remember that you are there.
3. Displaying expert status.
I am a tad wiped out today. I was rather busy on Monday with the folding/distributing work party for the July issue of Erie Gay News. There was only a total of 4 of us (including me), which is rather on the smallish side. We didn't get done with folding until 10 PM or so. (Sometimes, we have been done as early as 8:30 or so.) By the time we got done with delivering, it was a bit before midnight. I just have the drop offs to the guy who takes stuff down to Edinboro (which will happen tomorrow night), and then I am done. For this month. ;)
I am looking forward for when we fold, and realize that the issue cover dated for September comes out on August 21, so I will be spending my birthday putting the newsletter out. (Hmm, I wonder if I can use the low turnout for this month + the birthday thing to guilt some extra folks into volunteering? ;)
There was a fun visit from the ever delightful usual suspect. Sigh! Damnit, I was due for some frolicking after all of that work! ;) He makes m
