Marisa Miller's work in several Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues and Victoria's Secret catalogs sends her sexiness ratings off the charts.Marisa Miller was particularly sexy in the 2004 Sports Illustrated photo shoot video. Dressed like an Iowa farm girl, she definitely stood out from her colleagues Ana Beatriz Barros and Bridget Hall. When a photographer notices you on the beach without any makeup or fancy clothes, chances are you're not bad looking. This freckled strawberry blonde is the very incarnation of the all-American California girl. She was ranked No. 12 on AskMen.com's Most Desirable Women of 2007 and No. 9 in 2008. She also made her debut in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2007.Also in 2007, Marisa Miller appeared on the hit TV shows Entourage and How I Met Your Mother. Her legions of fans continued to grow as she placed No. 9 in AskMen.com's list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008.In February 2008, Marisa Miller also appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swims

Finally, a comprehensive site to help us paint! Painting is easy.....right? I guess you could say that painting a room really doesn't require talent. It's really not that hard.....how difficult could it be to paint a wall? I agree with most of this but how hard is it to find the perfect color? It's hard, believe me. How many times have you picked a color, had it mixed at the store, painted it onto the wall...............and hated it! How come that color looked so great in the store and now it looks horrible on your wall?Behr paints has put together a wonderful site that covers everything you will need to know about painting your space. I found this site just the other day and spent some time collecting information on exactly what this site offers you. Here is what you will find: Talks about the color wheelAssists you in finding complementary colors to the color you pickGives you facts about colorsPreview your color by ordering a sample (yes, you have to pay for this)Inspirational, art
The Balinese island was indeed rich in the culture and the tradition apart from his nature that really enchanted. This diligence was given by the Egg Painting name, because his base indeed came from egg skin. The normal egg used by the craftsman was the duck egg, the goose egg, the egg and the ostrich egg of assowary birds.Definitely before the egg was used before must e processed.
A trail into black and white has been really very much deeper than what I expected. What I love about this Zebra-colour painting, with its beautiful curves, patterns and designs. Because this painting is different than what usually people make, I shall tag it as “Unconventional ART but in the willful way.” Almost all colours fade in front of this bicolour painting. I appreciate, and heartily thanks for this piece of Art and the written thought process given by the creator to publish in the blog. " Well…where to start? All I could say is that it is my first painting ever…I thought I was a goner in these type of artworks but there you are….the owner of this blog said it could be worth something so here it is…..I call this genre as weird artwork…..as you see that I never ever liked what you all call ‘modern art’…..its just plain, ugly….and a little sad(if truth to be told)…so what’s better then to start a new style….I’ve experimented and here is the result…
I’m trying to get into the habit of getting photographs along the way when I make art. Here’s a painting I’ve just begun, and the steps leading up to it. I’ll add more to this post as the painting progresses. I first mentioned a series I want to do - of portraits of my boyfriend [...]

Since purchasing the Get Paid to Draw system and both products created by the two final contestants on The Next Internet Millionaire I've been following a trail of marketing freebies, ebooks, software and one time offers to teach you how to do anything, fast! You've probably seen many of them, even amongst the Google ads on my blog; 'Learn how to create massive wealth', 'How to make mega money from home', you get the idea. Clicking on these links takes you to what's known as a 'squeeze page' which is usually a lengthy sales message with examples and testimonials explaining why this product will do everything it claims. Just enter your name and email and we'll give you a truck load of free ebooks as well.I've got a pile of free marketing information clogging several folders on my hard drive so I've pretty much stopped following this marketing trail, however I continue to stumble across more art related products sold in this over hyped fashion. The latest one is an ebook titled Painting an

The Traveling Painting ProjectPosted by Daligoddess2006If you're a YouTube artist and you have a web cam then I strongly encourage you to get involved in Daligoddess2006's, The Traveling Painting Project. It doesn't matter what your skill level is so long as you're over 18 years of age and don't mind spending a little bit of money on postage of a smallish canvas.Considering how popular online video is, getting involved in projects such as this can have a bonus side effect of bringing more profile to your own art. The bigger the project gets the more people will be intrigued to find out more about the artists that have left their mark. So, the traveling painting project is just what it says. A single canvas traveling from artist to artist, with each artist adding something to the painting before passing it along. Watch the video above for more information and visit the Ning network web site set up by YouTube artist Sherri Westfall.
Here is the snowball bush that I have been working on for a while. I actually missed labeled it as a hydrangea but that is not too bad as I found on the internet that they are of the same family.

Watercolour has many virtues, its main attraction for artists being its freshness and translucence, making it ideal for a variety of subjects, especially landscapes and flower paintings.
As the name implies, pure watercolour is mixed with water and is transparent, so that it must be applied from light to dark, unlike oil paint or acrylics [...]
I named this one Polar Ice. Its quite lovely I think, the ice seems almost elegant to me yet filled with danger and a cold furious passion. The base image appears rough, raw, maybe even a bit wild but the delicate jewelled frame makes it seem so fragile and serene.

I mentioned in March that I was to paint a series of portraits of my boyfriend Vlady. I got a great photo in July of him about to each an octopus at a Chinese buffet. Today I started by drawing an outline sketch of the photo freehand:

It’s been a long time since I’ve made an actual full-scale painting. Like five years. That’s horrible.
I have been doing a lot of drawings, and one small watercolor painting for Vlady. Now I’ve finally completed a painting that I hope will lead to more painting activity. It helped that Vlady painted along with me this [...]
Regular readers may have noticed that I haven't been posting to this blog daily of late. My plan to post daily kind of got interrupted with my Perth Road Trip in that my flow of being able to post at all was impeded. Since then I've been inspired to paint a lot more now that I've taken the leap from mixed media (acrylics and chalk pastels) to straight acrylic paintings. I'm finding that the work I'm producing is, in my opinion, of a higher standard than some of my last few mixed media works. As far as continuing to write for this blog I wanted to assure you that I haven't abandoned or forgotten about it. Being a creative type in so many different areas there is always one area that currently gets the most attention. Right now, for me, it is painting.I will continue to post to this blog (just a little less frequently) and probably will get back to the daily routine when my enthusiasm for painting needs a rest. Creativity and inspiration tends to go in cycles. My writing cycle will no dou
Lets paint a still-life. Get your paints, get the canvas or whatever surface you have chosen. Now just sit and relax, think about the many objects you encounter everyday, think about how these objects are used, what function do they fulfill? Think about the fact that the world would be nothing if it were not for objects. No objects, no world. Alright, now that was simple, wasn’t it? This is a fact that is always before our eyes, so we never notice it. We never notice that this universe of ours is totally made of objects. What this will do is put you into the artist mindset. An artist sees the world, and its objects in a much deeper way than the average man or woman. This is part of what separates him from the rest of mankind, along with artistic talent. I want you to allow the objects to talk to you, I want you to feel the rust on the shovel; feel the that tree branch that has fallen from that oak tree to the ground; think about the old cuckoo clock that now lives its life down in th
Hello there, As a little boy, we didn’t have much to spend on art. So pastels were my oil paints. They were cheaper and you could get the same effect as an oil painting if you were talented enough. There was no wet mixing, it was like using a pencil, only much bigger. And the pastels messed up your hands. This early training with pastels has developed, and now I am an expert in using the pastel medium. Pastel are very user-friendly, unlike paints. They're a little messy but they are easy to apply. I love the pastel medium.Using pastels is similiar to using a pencil or charcoal. They are all graphite based and they all give you the same feel when using them. Drawiing a line with a pencil feels the same as doing it with a pastel, you feel the same pressure in application as with a pastel. Like a colored pencil pastels come in colors, but with pastels you can blend or mix the colors. This is harder to do using colored pencils. As I said above, pastels can be made to look like an oil pa
Road Trip Day 25: 16th June 2007After spending the morning grocery shopping with Rose I chose to spend my Saturday afternoon finishing the painting I started on Wednesday. As before I filmed myself doing it, even wearing the same clothes so it looks like I painted the whole thing in one day. All up it took me seven hours over two days to get finished. I'm quite happy with the result. The painting is called 'Jac Leaps Again' and is an all acrylic work on plywood, 60 x 90cm approx.Since, in my first post on this painting, I talked about my old studio I've decided to make that the theme of the video. This means that I'll need to take some time filming footage of me speaking to camera about... well... my old studio. Once I've done this I'll edit the whole thing together so you can watch me paint and talk about my studio at the same time.Speaking of filming, that's a nice seg-way into talking about the DVD we watched tonight. Rose bought 'West Side Story', the 10 time Oscar winner
Yeah the topic of the post really says it all. This is stunning work. And the skills of this guyis incredible. I bet everyone who has seen this video would wish that you were thatgood yourself. Enjoy.
How you doing?I'm in the middle of completing a beautiful seascape scene, your going to love this work. Well, take a look at my other artwork at: Framed Art. The artwork above comes from that site. There you will find the same high quality art creations that this new masterpiece represents. The show continues, it's my life. This new painting has those same trademark features of mine as the rest of my work. The seawater comes through so strong your going to think you've entered the painting. You can almost hear the seagulls flying around. You can literally smell and touch the things depicted in the artwork. As I always say, "My art is more than visual- it involves all the senses and it has feeling". I want people to love the art images I create. I infuse them all with my feeling in an effort to convey a message. When you buy a painting, art print or illustration from me know that it was created with care and attention. All of my artwork shows this clearly. I'm really enjoying the pr
