President Bush

  • Even President Bush influenced his elections with individual rigging: Shujaat
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that individual rigging took place everywhere in the world, and added that even US President George W Bush influenced his elections with individual rigging. He said that there were two types of rigging: Individual rigging and state-level rigging, adding that it was the PML-Q which feared individual-level rigging by the PML-Nawaz and other parties. Shujaat said that the individual rigging was one in which an individual used his or her influence to rig elections in their constituency. He said the individual rigging couldn’t be stopped. "Its volume depends on the influence of a candidate in his/her constituency," he added. The candidate, who would manage to "herd" and "pick" voters from door to door by managing his transport, would win his election, he said. Shujaat said that state-level rigging was very rare and in Pakistan, and added that its only example was the 197
  • Did President Bush destroy the Republican Party?

  • Democrats Admit President Bush was Right, Agree to Tax Cuts
Today the House and President Bush agreed on an economic stimulus package. This package includes tax rebates. This is the first thing that the House has gotten right since Democrats took control in 2006.  There is one aspect to this that I find interesting. For years we have heard from Democrats that the Bush tax cuts [...]
  • New Hampshire’s Budget Deficit, Blame President Bush
Governor John Lynch was handed a Democrat majority in all branches of government in New Hampshire in November of 2006. This was the first time that Democrats had control of all branches in over one hundred years.  It took the Democrats exactly one year to bankrupt the state as we face a $50 million budget shortfall. Governor [...]

  • President Bush’s newest (dis)-approval numbers
Does anybody remember when ABC (a.k.a. Mickey Mouse Television) aired that show “Path to 9-11″ in 2006? There was all of this controversy from within the Democratic National Committee who urged progressives and liberals to write nasty-grams to ABC Chief Robert Iger to keep that piece of propaganda piece off the air. Especially [...]
  • American Al Qaeda Threatens President Bush Visit to Middle East
If Dennis Kucinich would have been elected President of the United States when he first entered the race in 2004, I highly doubt that I would be reading a news story like this very frightening one. Why? well in 2003, Kucinich was the recipient of the Gandhi Peace Award, an annual award bestowed by the Religious Society of Friends-affiliated organization Promoting Enduring Peace. • Is President Bush a Friend?
OK I'm the first to admit it I voted for Bush during the previous presidential elections. I voted for him at the time not because of his economic policies but because of his policies in regard to Iraq national security, terrorism, and Israel. But now as President Bush heads out to Israel I am not to happy with his policy in regards to Israel and terrorism. To me he has since backtracked on his friendship of Israel and has done some things in regards to the middle east towards Israel that makes his statements and actions seem like more of a enemy of Israel than a friend. Why am I saying this and why am I concern about this turn in the Bush administration. Here are a few Reasons Broken promises about moving the embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.Failure to allow or support Israel actions in regards to attacks from Gaza.Failure to attend a Dinner in his honor in Jerusalem and also to speak to the Knesset w
  • Speaking With President Bush
I have been holding on to posting about this for almost two months now. I was waiting for a picture and now I have it. We were beginning to wonder if we would ever get our hands on it. There was a little bit of a standing joke around here that went like this; "If you meet the president but don't have a picture, did you really meet him?" Would people really believe you?Btw, Hubby's name has been removed for our privacy but it is there in the actual photo. Now on with the story.....My husband is currently working with our wounded warriors. He spends most of his day ministering to the severely injured soldiers who return from the war. One day back in November those warriors received a visit from the president. As the president went about visiting those in the room, my husband graciously stepped aside. After all the president was there to meet the wounded warriors and my hubby was there to minister to them; it was about the them. After making his rounds through the room, the pr
  • US President Bush reply to BB Market Place (Na, just kidding~)
After reading my blog post regarding some giant organizations were losing billions of dollars in mortgage-related area; President Bush has decided to rescue subprime mortgage market. For your information, subprime loans usually go to people with poor credit; and the lenders may increase the rates after certain periods. However, Bush has outlined a deal which may help up to 1.2 million American homeowners who may be unable to pay their home loans next year. He announced a deal between banking regulators and lenders that would freeze interest rates on certain subprime mortgages for five years. At the same time, the Bank of England also realized the criticalness of my blog news. Therefore they have agreed to reduce the official bank interest rates from 5.75% to 5.50%. “Although output in the United Kingdom has expanded at a brisk pace for the past two years, there are now signs that growth has begun to slow,” the bank said in a statement.Hold on a second, Bank Negara is calling me now~

  • Putin Third Term Loophole– Listening, President Bush!
A little known loophole has been uncovered in Russian electoral law which might enable President Putin to run for a third term. The current law forbids more than two consecutive presidential terms and states if a sitting president resigns, he can not run for the vacated seat. But, the constitution is silent on the question [...]
  • President Bush Slams Democrats over lack of action
It is about time...From the ap:President Bush compared Congress' Democratic leaders Thursday to people who ignored the rise of Lenin and Hitler early in the last century, saying "the world paid a terrible price" then and risks similar consequences for inaction today.Bush accused Congress of stalling important pieces of the fight to prevent new terrorist attacks by: dragging out and possibly jeopardizing confirmation of Michael Mukasey as attorney general, a key part of his national security team; failing to act on a bill governing eavesdropping on terrorist suspects; and moving too slowly to approve spending measures for the Iraq war, Pentagon and veterans programs."Unfortunately, on too many issues, some in Congress are behaving as if America is not at war," Bush said during a speech at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank. "This is no time for Congress to weaken the Department of Justice by denying it a strong and effective leader. ... It's no time for Congress to weake
  • President Bush’s SCHIP Veto Stands—Statement by Cincinnati AFL-CIO Executive Secretary-T
Two Southwest Ohio Representatives side with the President to deny millions of children health care President Bush’s veto of children’s health insurance--and Representative Schmidt and Representative Chabot’s decision to side with the President in an extreme vote against Ohio’s children--is just plain shameful. Their vote not to override Bush’s disgraceful veto of health care for children means that 128,000 of Ohio kids who would have been able to see a doctor when they needed one will instead continue to go without the basic services they need to grow up healthy.

  • President Bush Wants $50 Billion Dollars to Continue War in Iraq
I simply cannot comprehend the mind of this human being who is failing so miserably as the leader of the people of the United States of America.Does he have access to the media under that rock he is living under? I don't imagine that he does, or he would know that our citizens are suffering and suffering greatly. - There are still many people who are in dire need of financial aid because they do not have any type of health insurance due to the excessive cost of the premiums. - There are still many people who have been affected by hurricanes and floods and are awaiting financial aid which is way too long in arriving. - There are still many people who are struggling to take care of their families, who, because of job layoffs are being forced to rely upon government assistance. - There are still many people who are frightened to cross over more than 100 bridges since they have been recently reported to be structurally unsafe for public use. I dearly hope that my fellow Democrats who are

  • Nobel Peace Prize Winner Wants To Kill President Bush
More BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) from a bleeding heart liberal.  Nobel Peace Prize winner Betty Williams came from Ireland to Texas to declare that President Bush should be impeached. In a keynote speech at the International Women's Peace Conference on Wednesday night, Ms. Williams told a crowd of about 1,000 that the Bush administration has been treacherous and wrong and acted unconstitutionally. "Right now, I could kill George Bush," she said at the Adam's Mark Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas. "No, I don't mean that. How could you nonviolently kill somebody? I would love to be able to do that." I hope she finds herself in a dirty little cell soon for threatening the president. When an audience member told Ms. Williams that Vice President Dick Cheney would become president if George Bush were impeached, she said, "Can't you impeach them both?" "It's twisted. It's all wrong," she said. "There are so many lies being told. It's hard to be an American

  • Iraq Pullback 'In a While' Says President Bush
In how long a 'while,' Mr. President? When the sight of the caskets coming home is too much for you to bear anymore? When your advisors become tired of briefing you yet again regarding the many anti-war organizations who have been demanding you and Dick Cheney's impeachment and finally advise you to pull the troops out? This war is unjust, Mr. President...it is unjust and it is wrong. It has not aided the war on terrorism you see, it has inflamed the terrorists to create lots of training camps. • President Bush Disappointed
President Bush Disappointed by Congress’s Failure to Act on Comprehensive Immigration Reform Spruance Auditorium Naval War College Newport, Rhode Island 12:38 P.M. EDT THE PRESIDENT: I thank the members of the Senate and members of my administration who worked so hard on the border security and immigration reform bill. I’m sorry the Senate was unable to reach agreement on the bill this morning. Legal immigration is one of the top concerns of the American people and Congress’s failure to act on it is a disappointment. The American people understand the status quo is unacceptable when it comes to our immigration laws. A lot of us worked hard to see if we couldn’t find a common ground — it didn’t work. Congress really needs to prove to the American people that it can come together on hard issues. The Congress needs to work on comprehensive energy policy and good health care; make sure health care is affordable without inviting the federal government to
