I’m going to churn out a post about tomorrow… about Valentine’s day. No no I wasn’t brainwashed in pink. The sheer idea Valentine’s day makes me shrug in despair, it’s just a commercial event to sell more flowers and chocolate. They don’t fool me. I can’t stand it: -when you’re single it’s just a mean mirror of stupid-cute couples, making a fuss about giving and receiving flowers and chocolates. And God, all those fussy almost tacky pink heart-shaped decorations in every single shop? It’s way worst in the US. -and when you have that someone special, either you’re on the same line no overpriced flowers or chocolates just because they say so. You cannot go out for dinner or you will be attacked by pearly pink decorations. Or if you have the bad luck –very bad- to be with a lover of pinky-pearly-hearts, ouch … That ha

  Thanks for the fan art!Thanks to everyone who has been coming to this blog and thanks Tobias Buckell for actually paying attention to all the times your name pops up on the net and dropping by to leave a comment. That was really cool. And yes I will continue to listen to your Podcast sessions!Now for some other stuff here. I've had a lot of thoughts going through my head lately about this blog and about WISB. One of my thoughts involves this newfangled thing called Podcasting. TW has been putting together a Podcast for the site. I don't know why they thought of doing this, but more power to them. The idea got me thinking about Podcasts and I started Googling them. I had already heard of I Should Be Writing and The Survival Guide to Writing Fantasy (which I am listening to now and catching up on), and happened to find this one I previously mentioned called Adventures in Sci Fi Publishing.   “It’s like the Ku Klux Klan.” That’s what Bill O’Reilly said recently on his own show about Daily Kos, the 8th biggest blog site in the world— and the most popular political blog site. His producers managed to dig up several stupid and ill-considered remarks among the thousands and thousands of postings that appear on Daily Kos every day and use them to attack the corporate sponsorship of Jet Blue for the site’s Yearly Kos Convention in Chicago as “supporting hate.” I hope Mr. O’Reilly airs all the stupid and ill-considered things said on his show and sends “reporters” out to harass and ambush all the O’Reilly Factor’s major sponsors. That would be great television! Meanwhile, despite scaring Jet Blue into a half-baked semi-withdrawal from the Yearly Kos Convention, his ranting is free advertising for the event and further evidence of his hot decline as a force in the cool medium.

  Today I heard that Rosie O'Donnell wants more money for being on The View. That fat bitch shouldn't even have a job. All she does is stick her nose in other peoples business and cram her opinions down every ones throat. You know what Rosie? I don't care how you feel about Donald Trump or 9-11.
