  • Study Reports Anger Fuels Better Decisions
This is from June of last year, but this is the first I've heard of it, so hopefully everybody isn't already familiar. A scientific experiment was conducted to determine the impact of anger on decision-making and rationality. It was concluded that anger actually improves your thought processes and helps you to make better decisions which you more strongly uphold. So, take that all of you nay-sayers who constantly criticize us for tossing away the facade of propriety and demeanor of respect for others' beliefs. We're actually better off precisely because we get angry. Quote: http://www.livescience.com/health/070611_anger_rational.html READ MORE »

  • WENGER REJECTS THE REPORTS
Arsene Wenger today denied Arsenal have opened negotiations over a new contract with Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas, whose current deal with the Gunners expires in 2014, revealed yesterday that the club has sought talks over fresh terms. But Wenger insists the Spain midfielder was simply voicing his commitment to the club in response to speculation over renewed interest from home town club Barcelona. "At the moment there are no talks. What he wanted to say is that he is committed to the future here," said the Frenchman. "He was interviewed by Spanish radio and that's all he wanted to say." Wenger is surprised at the ferocity of the backlash against the Premier League's proposal to play a 39th game abroad each season from 2011. The plan has received universal condemnation with FIFA president Sepp Blatter the latest dissenting voice, declaring it will "never happen". But Wenger insists the idea should be investigated properly before being written off.

  • Wall St Week Ahead - Recession fears to weigh on earnings reports
By Herbert Lash NEW YORK (Reuters) - A heavy gloom hanging over Wall Street may deepen next week unless such bellwether companies as Apple and United Technologies provide investors with hope that the U.S. economy can avert recession. A slew of major corporations, also including Bank of America Corp, Microsoft Corp and AT&T Inc, will release their quarterly earnings in a shortened trading week that has scant economic data scheduled for release. Markets will be closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr Day. "Earnings next week are the only thing that the market has to hang its hat on. With the market in such a fragile condition, those earnings better be good or we could see some severe selling," said Richard Sparks, senior equities analyst with Schaeffer's Investment Research in Cincinnati, on Friday. • Affiliate Networks Can’t Give Me Reports
It is the first of 2008 and already I am running into problems with one of my goals. One of my goals or resolution is to print out or gather reports about top affiliate campaigns to promote. This way I can view them all at once and have a nice bird’s eye view of them. Usually I just look at the reports on my screen and decided right there and then if I want to promote it or not. I found it to be cumbersome and found relative campaigns on other networks with different stats also this may cause cross promotion as well. So I want to go ahead and print out the first couple pages of a report that would sort by EPC, Networks Earnings, Per Lead, or Percentage of Sale. If I can sort by these then I can print out and decide what I want to promote this month. Well I ran into problems, only 2 of the 6 networks I am part of only provide good ways to sort and organize the advertiser’s list into a way I can print and look over. NeverBlueAds and CJ.com are the only 2 that does this with e
