Rodriguez (27-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) fought in the UFC from 2001 through 2003. After wins over Andrei Arlovski, Pete Williams, Jeff Monson, and Tsuyoshi Kohsaka Rodriguez defeated Randy Couture to win the promotion’s then-vacant heavyweight title. In his very next fight, however, he lost the belt to Tim Sylvia. After losing back-to-back-to-back fights Rodriguez has bounced back strongly earning a 13-3 record in a variety of MMA promotions. Michelle Rodriguez might not be on a hit television show anymore, but she did just save 90% on her prison term. That is pretty good for a celebrity - not Nicole Richie level - but impressive none the less. The former Lost star was released from Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, Wednesday after serving just 18 days of her 180-day sentence for violating her probation in a DUI case. It’s amazing how serious our legal system is when it comes to making people pay for their crimes. In this case the judge was really serious about Michelle serving the full sentence, but of course all those other criminal just took up all the best prison cots and Michelle had to go. Unlike some of the other A-listers who got a preferential treatment, the former Lost star is spending her nights on a bunk bed in a common area where 183 other general prisoners sleep.
