  The dirty bomber gets 17 years. The interesting part is, prosecutors wanted life in prison, but the judge decided on 17 years because of "harsh conditions" at the Navy brig. I doubt he was faced with the fear of being butt-raped in the Navy brig. That in itself should disqualify him for a shortened sentence.
