The Simpsons ride will replace "Back to the Future" and is due to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in Spring 2008. "Guests will be rocketed along with the Simpson family on a hysterical, almost unimaginable adventure. They'll experience a side of Springfield previously unexplored as they enjoy the new rides interpretation of the thrill rides, dark rides and "live" shows that make up a new fantasy amusement park dreamed up by the shows cantankerous Krusty the Clown." I enjoyed The Simpsons movie and after writing about the Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 I thought to myself about the Simpson being entrepreneurs themselves. How so? Well Ned Flanders opened his Leftorium and Homer was Mr. Plow.
Also if you haven’t notice promoting the Simpsons was a very big thing for Fox Network. They provided twelve 7 11s to imitate the Kwik E Mart and even took it further by selling squishes and Krusty-Os. Even JetBlue has “The Official Airline of Springfield,” it is promoting its new “Woo-Hoo, JetBlue!” aircraft featuring Homer’s stubbled mug.
We can learn a lot from the Simpsons, the whole town are all entrepreneurs and provide I think good information on how to be good entrepreneurs. While others such as Mr. Burns is a very forceful entrepreneur using force marketing to his advantages.

I doubt there’s anyone out there that has not seen, heard or know who the Simpsons are but is knowing enough to get people out to the theaters? According to the box office numbers, it appears that everyone and their dog went to se this film opening weekend undoubtedly looking for the laughs they have, over the course of 18 years, come to expect from what was once one of the best shows on TV.

The Simpsons in widescreen with shadows and a movie plot arc. Sure, it's funny; but then so are the TV episodes. One of the few brands I don't mind being plastered everywhere. I don't want to say more because the jokes lose some of their impact if you've heard about them before you see the film. Try to avoid the teaser clips if you haven't had a taster already.Nugget: if you sit through the credits you will be rewarded with a Springfield anthem to the tune of La Marseillaise and Maggie's first word.

Thankfully, it seems, the writers were waiting for something like this to truly let the show and its characters shine.
Curiously, the trailers are very cryptic as to what the film is actually about. I found out a few days before, and I think it ruined a few of the surprises that were in store. But for the most part, for all Simpsons fans young and old, be prepared for a treat.
