Snoop had filed for divorce in 2004 after being married for seven years. However, he dropped the idea of divorcing when he realised he would have a lot to lose. The highly anticipated second season of Aaron McGruder's The Boondocks will premier on Monday, October 8, on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. A number of rappers, such as Lil Wayne, Ghostface Killah, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg and Cee-Lo have signed on to voice guest characters for the new season. The Boondocks, which originated as a popular nationwide comic strip, follows the adventures of 10 year-old revolutionary Huey, his 8-year-old brother, Riley, and their grandfather and guardian, Robert "Granddad" Freeman. In 2005, the series received an NAACP Image Awards nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series. On October 1 VH1 will premier Bridging The Gap, a new series that depicts two artists from different eras recording a track together. In the first two episodes, Eve will link with Queen Latifah and The Game will collaborate with Snoop Dogg. Each episode will feature both sets of artists sitting down for lunch prior to hitting the studio where they will have one day to produce a finished track. The artists involved will also discuss their lives, their careers and their influences on each other.
