After all, you’re probably the one who wrote the posts in the first place… and it’s likely you see your web site more than any other person. But RSS feeds are particularly sensitive. One small change and your feed can stop working completely. And you can end up losing most of your readers and never even noticing. I’ve been blogging for years, yet that’s exactly what happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had edited a Wordpress plugin - something completely unrelated to RSS, and hadn’t noticed that my feed had stopped working. In the end, a friend let me know the RSS feed wasn’t working and I tracked down the problem fairly quickly. But had I been paying attention to my own feed, I would have noticed much sooner and not left my subscribers without any new posts for two days

I was thinking of subscribing to some good magazines and after searching around a bit, found the best place to find the cheapest UK Magazine Subscriptions.Comparemagazines.co.uk allows you to compare magazine subscription prices offered by different magazines' subscription providers. When I last checked they had 1062 UK magazines in their database, including Fashion magazines, Women magazines and Men magazines among others.The subscription rates do vary between companies. For example, Vogue magazine subscription prices are £28.50 and £31.50 respectively for one year subscription from two different companies. You should note that the actual subscription rates may differ from those listed on the site. For example, two Cosmopolitan magazine subscription rates are given , namely £0 and £24 on two different sites. However, the actual rates are higher. Still they were lower than the recommended retail price (RRP) on both.

Since the whole point of content syndication is to get more and more people reading your feeds, it’s vital to promote and market your feeds and get people to subscribe.
One of the biggest problelms we find with users of RSS feeds - our clients included - is not making the feed prominently visible to your readers and making it dead easy to subscibe.
While RSS adoption is steadily climbing, there are still many folk out there who don’t understand RSS and how it works. So it’s really important to make sure you have the RSS icon clearly visible on your homepage as well as the pages that are RSS enabled.
Give them a “What is RSS?” link to a page that clearly explains how to use the feeds.
And definitely offer ’one-click easy subscribe’ options for Google, My Yahoo, My MSN, Bloglines etc.
