Rumours are circulating in Australia that cricket vice-captain Michael Clarke may marry model Lara Bingle sooner than later. The Daily Telegraph quoted Clarke's manager as denying the news, but the glamour couple are reportedly preparing to announce their engagement just over a year after they got together. They were pictured shopping in Brisbane yesterday soon after the Australian team checked into a hotel. Walking hand in hand, they looked every bit the happy couple. Clarke had plenty to smile about after captaining Australia to a Twenty20 win over India in front of 84,000 spectators at the MCG on Friday night. According to the Courier Mail however, Lara was in hiding on the Sunshine Coast. The marriage speculation was running hot all weekend, with reports that Pup (Clarke’s nickname) has splashed out on a five-carat diamond ring for his future wife. Papers here are predicting that an announcement could be made before Clarke goes on a tour with the Australian team to Pakistan.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has asked all political parties to sort out an exit strategy for President Musharraf over his failure in controlling affairs of the government. “I intend to call a meeting of All Parties Democratic Alliance (APDM) to discuss options available for building national reconciliation on a common agenda. I would contact parties outside the APDM including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to bring them on board,” the Daily Times quoted Khan as saying. “Deteriorating law and order situation, heavy human losses due to army operations, increasing suicide attacks, and negative statements by western officials about nuclear programme were posing a serious threat to the sovereignty of Pakistan,” he added. He alleged that West had been exploiting Pakistan for its own vested interests and wanted to roll back the nuclear programme by using these tactics. Khan further suggested a formation of a po
Two new reports on the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto suggest that mystery remains about the person who organised the crowd after an election rally, which made Benazir come out of the roof the bullet-proof car to wave to people. The reports also suggest that President Pervez Musharraf’s Government knows more than it has admitted about the killing of Bhutto. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ishtiaq Hussain Shah, who was in charge of security arrangements at Rawalpindi’s Liaqat Bagh and was also among those who sustained multiple injuries in the December 27 attack. Shah said that he saw some people appear from nowhere and stop Benazir’s car while she was leaving the rally. "I don’t know who they were or from where they came. They were carrying flags of the Pakistan People’s Party and shouting pro-PPP slogans. They just appeared on the road," he added. "I started to clear the way for Bhutto&r

Excavations at the ruins of the Siraf city in Iran indicate that the first mosque in the region was built in the 9th century AD. The ancient city of Siraf is located 220 kilometers south-east of Bushehr and approximately 380 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas. According to a report in Press TV, other findings at the site like Islamic gravestones, the resting place of the Muslim scholar Ibn Sibeveyh, and a number of Towers of Silence and Zoroastrian temples portray the region's religious diversity throughout history. Earlier, the discovery of east African ivory objects, Indian stone pieces, and Afghan lapis confirmed the use of the historic port as the main marine trade route during the pre-Islamic era and the first four centuries following the advent of Islam. However, when trade routes shifted to the Red Sea, the ancient port was gradually forgotten. One hundred 35-130 meter deep stone wells and graves at the foot of the mountains surrounding th

Hello Friends! Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my blog, Stock Picks Bob's Advice! As always, please remember that I am an amateur investor, so please remember to consult with your professional investment advisers prior to making any investment decisions based on information on this website. One of my favorite things about writing this blog is corresponding with fellow investors who have questions about investments and 'what to do...'. I have to emphasize that my advice should always be taken with a grain of salt. That is, remember that I am an amateur at all of this. I am not qualified to advise anyone regarding their own particular investments and am not trying to do so. I can only respond in telling people what I do in those situations. That doesn't mean that my response is correct for them; this is just to help all of us think about investing. My suggestion to consult with professional investment advisers hol
Obviously skirting round the awkward fact that the copyright in most recordings is owned by corporations rather than the original musicians, Roger Daltrey and Bruce Foxton have complained that government plans to leave copyright terms untouched will condemn them to penury:Daltrey told BBC News that musicians rely on royalties as many don't have pensions."They are not looking for a handout," he said, "just fair reward for their creative endeavours."Bruce Foxton, who used to play bass guitar in The Jam, has also spoken on the issue."I've played bass on all The Jam tracks, and all we've been asking is that we can earn royalties from those recordings, assuming people keep buying them," he said. "Now I will be faced with losing all that when the time comes, and at a point when age will seriously limit my other earning opportunities."We reckon Bruce has got another twenty-odd years of earnings which he could, as other people have to with their earnings, sort out his pension scheme in; Dal

Nothing helps you better in improving your testing skills than doing some real testing. And being able to find a couple of bugs in a software always helps!
