All people with diabetes need to watch their carbohydrate grams, especially when they need to take insulin to manage their blood sugars. People with diabetes can indulge in a sugary treat just like the rest of us, just not every day, but occasionally. One of the main reasons for Type 2 Diabetes is obesity, and snacking as well as eating 6 smaller meals a day instead of 3 large ones will not only help you lose weight but will eventually help with the Diabetes. Since artificially sweetened treats have fewer grams of carbohydrate, they can be enjoyed more frequently. Fruit, the ultimate natural sweet treat, should be part of a healthy meal plan. Here are 10 ways to combine healthy snacking with good nutrition and exercise and stay healthy. 1. Fruit - One of the best sweet treats invented! Fruit is fine for people with diabetes. In fact, the ADA recommends two to three servings daily, depending upon your calorie needs. Some fruit that are extra high in antioxidants and vitamins include all

I wanted to add pet product reviews to my blog. But I cannot use or eat pet products myself for various reason because the main thing I am a human, LOL. Then I thought well maybe I should add my dog to the blog then thinking that is a good idea. Since he is the one who uses those products anyway that is perfect thing to do. So the dog product reviews will be the opinion of my dog if he likes them or not. The only thing I will do is type it up for him but it being his opinion. Like with any dog each one like different products and tastes. About Einstein, he loves dog toys even more than treats like frisbees, dog balls, and toys. Einstein will be reviewing those kinds of products more than anything else. Along with some dog supplements, foods and treats. Now my cat Sam is jealous of me showcasing the dog on my blog and not him. They compete with each other for my attention. Therefore, I will add my cat Sam to review cat products and articles. Along with reviews and articles by my three
Look at me! I learned how to use my paws to get my own treats! Here is the little Dixie cup that I like to kick around sometimes. My Mommie put a Temptation inside to see what I could do. I reached inside the cup... And I grabbed the Temptation! I can already tell it will be very delicious. Then I curled up my paw very tightly and dragged the Temptation out of the cup......and into my mouth!I think eating with your paws is good manners. Maybe I can learn to use a spork next! I would probably be allowed to eat in restaurants if I learn how to use flatware. Thanks for the treat, cup. You are nice.
In a game where timing can be everything, the 2007 Hula Bowl proved no different. With less than a week as teammates, and only 3 days of practice, the game came down to the final 44 seconds. In those last 44 ticks of the clock, the Aina (East) scored 15 points and took down the Kai (West), who had held the lead the entire game. The Kai took a 10-3 lead into the locker rooms, boosted by a 16 yard touchdown catch in the first quarter by Nate Ilaoa of the University of Hawai’i. The Kai added three more points in the second quarter on a 23 yard field goal by Greg Johnson of Texas. The Aina was able to put points on the board just before the break with a 24 yard field goal by John Vaughn of Auburn, coming with 14 seconds left in the half. The second half was a defensive struggle, with Chad Nkang, MVP of the Kai team, leading the way with nine tackles and one pass deflection. The Aina was able to sustain a late drive engineered by Clemson teammates Will Proctor, QB, and Reggie Merriweather,

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Treats were a hit. I didn't write down an exact recipe but here's the gist. It's super easy.Make one standard recipe of Rice Krispy Treats and press it in to a 9x13 pan, sprayed with non-stick spray. I like to use wax paper sprayed with non-stick to help me press in the sticky treat evenly. Let it cool for a few minutes. Then, I spread a thin layer of peanut butter (microwave it to make it more spreadable) and let it cool again. Then make another batch of standard recipe Rice Krispy Treats and press on top. Let it cool for a few hours.Turn out onto a board or clean surface. The treats should come out of the pan very easily. Melt chocolate (I used Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate) over a double boiler and drizzle on top of the Rice Krispy Treats. Let it cool until chocolate solidifies. Cut into square or shapes and serve.Notice that there is no additional sugar added to the peanut butter and the chocolate I used was less sweet. That gives the Rice Kri
Staffers involved in the production of Tyra Banks talk show were left unhappy during a Christmas party, which she had actually organised to thank them for their hard work. According to reports, people attending the party were served only some cheeseburgers instead of gifts. Banks, who just negotiated a 30 million-pound deal when she moved her show from Los Angeles to New York, threw a "modest holiday party at a Lower East Side dive bar and her employees drank a lot because there was no food,” the New York Post quoted cyber-gossip Janet Charlton as saying. “Tyra arrived for a brief stop, looking like a million bucks, and said she was on her way to Italy. Before she left, she told them 'I want to thank you guys for working so hard - I have a special guest - here's Santa!'" the newspaper reported. However, the Santa brought McDonald's cheeseburgers for the employees rather than bearing gifts. "Unhappy workers ended up drinki

The best things in life are. . . no, not free. Shared. They're brought as gifts, given to friends and family, offered as parting gifts at your own party.Over the years, we've sent holiday packages filled with homemade treats far and wide: candy, granola, jams and chutneys. We've heard people await those boxes with anticipation.Maybe the excitement is partly because people just don't make homemade treats anymore. Who has the time? Well, time's not a worry with this treat! A spicy cranberry chutney perfect for a holiday turkey or roast that you can bring to any Holiday dinner.Maybe we've lost the homemade-gift habit because we'd rather get something at the mall that could always be returned. After you make this wonderful recipe, all that's left is to wrap these gifts up and hand them around or send them on their way. But keep a few back for yourself. After all, by definition, to share doesn't mean to give it all away. It means you get to keep a little for yourself. And that's a reason to

Ghosts exist in your marketing system. They are the subscribers and people on your email list who actually don't read what you send them; everything you provide goes into some kind of void, into the ether.Clearly having ghosts in your machine for marketing is doing you no good. You think you have 1,000 subscribers, say, but many of these may be dead. Having people on your mailing list or RSS subscriber list that are not actually engaged with what you do is worthless. All that is being massaged is your ego - they are adding nothing to your bank balance. Indeed, if you use an email system for a newsletter, for instance, that charges by the number of subscribers, those dead email addresses are costing you dear. So, how do you revive the dead? Should you trick them into waking up or provide them with a treat of some kind? Let's look at the possible reasons as to why people may be ignoring your emails or blog postings in RSS feeds.Firstly, they may simply have too many other emails and feeds

Everyone loves treats! For us humans, it's salty chips or sweet goodies like chocolate, cookies and ice cream. As for our dogs, they need treat time too!Although I know it's not vet-approved to feed them ice cream, the truth is...I do it! I buy little cups of vanilla ice cream and give it to each of them in bowl. This is the highlight of their week and I just don't have the heart to cheat them of it.Fruity yogurt? Yes, I'm guilty of giving them little bits from the bottom of the cup when I'm done. So sue me!Crispy plain potato chips? They love them and when I get to treat myself on NFL Sunday, they get a little treat too. Is it good for them? Probably not. Is it good for me? Definitey not. But we all share it anyway. So there! There are a lot of things we should and shouldn't eat and the same goes for your dogs. But in the end, we're all living creatures and yes, I hate to admit it, but somehow the food that isn't good for us tastes so damn good. (and my dogs will agree with this point!
The good people at Hormel have created a neat little guide to Halloween treats made with pepperoni. Candy is totally over-rated, what kids really want is…MEAT!
