In MY opinion, the international video game industry should create more non-violent video games as well as continue to rate the current violent ones, as we presently have more than our share of gratuitous violence in the entertainment field being shown to our impressionable young people as it is, in this world.

Anyone who’s watching (or watched) the NBC hit TV series, “Heroes” raise their hands!
In a news article at Yahoo, the producers of Heroes have just announced that they recently inked a deal with Ubisoft to make a video game for the hot TV series which will be out sometime in 2008. The deal was set up by Universal Pictures Digital Platforms Group, which previously worked with Ubisoft on “Peter Jackson’s King Kong.”
Hmmm… interesting. But will the TV show still be hot by 2008? Or is the game compelling enough for gamers or fans of the TV-series to even consider playing?

Yup, you read that right, little Johnny will be going to the shrink for being overly into playing video games. Hey parents! Turn off the dang box! What we have is a lack of Parenting, not a medical problem. This is ridiculous and now the medical community is enabling bad parenting. Doctor Spock was the worse thing to happen to this country when it comes to parenting. If time out doesn't get er done than it is time to up the anti and yes, spanking is necessary some times. Only a few months ago, Ubisoft signed the license to create games based off the popular Lost television series.For months, hardly any new info on this upcoming franchise was available till now. LOST producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse confirmed that Ubisoft Montreal is indeed working on X360, PS3 and PC versions of the game.The title hasn't been announced yet and it's due out in 2008. I hope they can pull off something cool, instead of adhering to the usually mediocre quality of movie/tv show-based video games.
