I'm back in WoW, for a short while, mainly because a good few of my guildmates there are trying this PvP thing, and I like PvP. My first two impressions were, "Woah, smooth!", and "Woah, lag!"Having been controlling ships in EVE for a while, I'm used to a slight delay in response. The battleship I've been piloting for a while now turns like an arthritic whale. The responses in WoW are instantaneous, and it lends a definite feeling of smoothness to the whole experience. On the other hand, there was ferocious lag across the entire battlegroup last night, and it made things... interesting. I could be into the third or fourth spell, from a buttons on the keyboard point of view, and not know if the opponent was still there or not. Once, I ran over a cliff, and was watching the pretty falling motion, and then was suddenly back on top as though I hadn't fallen at all. And then the whole battlegroup crashed.

It took a little longer than I thought to reach this next goal, but I finally managed to reach 20,000 gold again in World of Warcraft. Real life work has me burnt out by the time I get home so I don't even log in for the 30-45 minutes daily to rack this amount up. The Season 3 patch was quite a big sales day which raised the World of Warcraft auction house prices by quite a bit. The prices of some items have still not come back down since that patch was released, so that's great for people playing the auction houses. With school/college out there will be more people playing, so a greater demand of goods to be sold this winter break. Back at the end of October I had hit 14,000 before Sparter increased its commissions. I was thinking with the commission rates doubling to 20% the gold rates would go back up to compensate. A rogue character from the famous MMORPG has just been sold for the sum of 7000€ (approximately $10.000).For this pretty sum, the buyer got himself a hero equipped with the best weapons to be found in World of Warcraft at this time, the Legendary swords dropped by Illidan Stormrage, and 4 out of 5 tiers of the strongest armor currently available. The site also states that Zeuso, the player who created and then sold the rogue, is now building up another character, perhaps preparing him for his next deal. Unfortunately, the buyer has been inactive in World of Warcraft since September 3rd, which can have us speculate that Blizzard banned his account, as they have stated they don’t support character sales or auctions. Bites for him. I personally don’t understand why anyone would make such a purchase. No not my character, though I wish it were me. This news is a little old, but its about a character named Zeuzo from a guild called Method on Sylvanas(EU). After getting both pieces to make The Twin Blades of Azzinoth the account was sold to a person by the name of Shaks. Which was banned by blizzard very shortly afterwards. The story made BBC headlines back in September with an interview of some of the guild members. All I can say is wow, I'm happy making a bucks here and there, but thats a lot of money. It just goes to show you that the virtual economy is alive and well. As long as there are people willing to pay for other people's time to get items, there will always be a market to sell those items. I guess this is one reason I'm sticking to selling gold too since items are alot easier to track, especially ones that only a few people have out of the millions that play World of Warcraft.
My regular job has been having me work alot lately so I haven't been pushing any products lately. Chances are, you know someone who plays this game, and there's good reason for it. Join them.3) The social aspect of the game is great. Gold, Gold, Gold. All players of WoW need it. Whether it be items from the AH, tipping for someone to pick-lock your locked boxes, or to spend on repair bills, gold can be a thing of joy, or a thing of despair. Here's a quick list of things you can do to get a some gold in your backpack. 1) Work the Auction House. Treat it like the stock market, buy low, sell high. Look what an item averages normally on the AH. If you find one relatively cheaper, buy and and put it back in at a slightly higher price. I've made about 200 g a day doing this back before Burning Crusade came out. 2) Farm. This may be the oldest and most boring way to acquire gold, but it works. If you can, find mobs that drop both linen and gold (usually humanoids) that die fairly quickly. Try to avoid high traffic places if possible.
