Many of you have stated how you like seeing the stages I go through to complete a painting so here is a midpoint for one of the Chattanooga Warner Park rose paintings I’m working on. It is always a great pleasure sharing my art with each and every one of you. Thank you everyone for [...]
Warner music has offered to take the Death Row catalogue off the hands of the receivers, valuing the library at USD25 million. It's still going to leave a bit of a hole in the Death Row accounts - the label was USD137million in debt when it went under. Still, it's not a bad take for the catalogue - Warners must have faith that SpiralFrog will be serving a shed load of ads alongside the tracks for the years to come.

When we wrote about the influence that bandwidth caps would have on ITunes and Amazon Unbox, we thought we were really pushing the envelope. The good part is that we are not the only ones thinking that there is something else going on here, and that the same kind of idea is coming from the [...]

“Turn every task into a product.” Tom Peters
This is one of the new oil paintings I’ll be doing on Old Holland professional linen canvas for those that prefer art on canvas or art without a frame. They can be framed or hung as is. I can also gild the edges with gold if you like. [...]
Warner drops HD DVD, goes Blu-Ray onlyFiled under: NewsThe question we find ourselves asking is "what does Michael Bay think?" Warner Bros. Entertainment today announced that the company will discontinue releasing its movies on HD DVD beginning in May of this year in favor of Blu-Ray exclusivity. The decision comes as Warner Bros. CEO Bary Meyer airs concerns that "The window of opportunity for high-definition DVD could be missed if format confusion continues to linger." In other words, if one format doesn't win out soon, a newer format could dominate them both. Digital downloads, perhaps? Maybe Michael Bay was right after all. Whatever your position in the format war (we're happy with our DVDs, thanks), this represents a big blow to HD DVD, and rumor has it that Warner Bros. received a hefty chunk of change in exchange for Blu-Ray exclusivity. So, starting this summer, your 360 HD DVD player might be feeling a bit lonely (except for the fine films from Paramount and Dreamworks, of
Non-DRM protected media for use on any MP3 player systems, now who would have thought that Warner would have ended up approving this one. Or that this is something that the media companies and on line distributors would have agreed to. Looking at the news though, it looks like Amazon has done exactly that, helped [...]
Andrew Warner’s Road Trip is in full gear, as he currently approaches New Orleans. (Hopefully, he’ll capture YouTube footage of himself arguing with the psychics at Jackson Square—assuming the Square has reassumed the identity I remember from the pre-Katrina days.) As I’ve been vicariously following his journey through his Cin-Weekly blog (the first Cin-Weekly blog I’ve ever read), I’ve been remembering some of my own experiences on the road from my younger days. Specifically, I’ve been thinking about highway exits.

Warner Music Group and Last.fm, one of the leading Web 2.0 social music sites, have signed a deal to allow Warner

I’m addicted to Last.FM…though not for the low-quality streaming radio. For me it’s all about the personal charts, recommendations and seeing what [...]
Jackie WarnerBeauty, brains, a six-pack any hot blooded male or female would kill for... Jackie Warner really does have it all. Her gym, "Sky Sports Spa," is widely recognized as one of the top gyms in Beverly Hills. Her show, "Work Out," was recently picked up for its second season on Bravo. She's releasing her own line of clothing soon, AND she's found a way to combat hidden calories with Aquafina’s newest product, "Aquafina Alive." I recently got to chat with Jackie about it all, here’s what she had to say about water, weights, and what to wear in the gym.Do you find that hidden calories are the biggest challenge in trying to maintain a healthy and balanced diet for your clients?Yeah, you know they really are. We have so many choices on the market today, consumers have to be very savvy and really read labels. Water is one of the biggest culprits, it’s surprising how high in sugar some of the beverages are. Vitamin Water for instance, which is one of the most popular products o
