Ban, who earlier held talks with Algerian Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci in Geneva, was speaking at a memorial service for 17 U.N. employees who died in the twin blasts last month. • CarAngel - Where Your Cars Make Angels Worldwide
As a blogger, I always hop around the internet to find something out of the ordinary, anything that may arouse my reader's attention or any random thing that might just be of my interest. Well, I should say that this is one of the few posts that I personally feel strongly about."I came across a company that transforms cars into angels worldwide."Intrigued? Let me expound more on the note. A company named Angel Ministries came up with an unprecedented effort to create child friendly animations and anti-drug documentaries from car donations. Yes, as hard to imagine as it is, there are actually some people who exert a little more effort for the extra mile, go for the road less travelled and in the process, transcend mediocrity. The folks behind the Angel Ministries are truly, a force to be reckoned with.Personally, I think this is an effort that needs to be spread to everyone possible and this is one of the reasons why I just had to post this one on my blog.I have been through their outpu

Hello Friends!  Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my blog Stock Picks Bob's Advice!  As always, please remember that I am an amateur investor, so please remember to consult with your professional investment advisers prior to making any investment decisions based on information on this website. It was a really lousy day in the market.  But I bet you noticed.  For the record, the Dow closed down 387.18 points at 13,270.68, and the NASDAQ was down 56.49 at 2,556.49.  YIKES.  As the most entertaining Jim Cramer has said:"I like to end every television and radio show I have with this signoff: "There is always a bull market somewhere, and I will try to find it for you." I say that because it's true." I guess I am a little more of a Jim Cramer fan now.  I don't always agree with his style but his comments on the seven million American homeowners who might lose their homes due to tight money struck a chord with me.&nbs

He even seems to be a genuine ChristianIn Europe, reforms are in vogue. Though many special interests are fiercely resisting change, it is striking to see just how many European Social Democrats have come to recognize the need for structural reforms to welfare states. Witness Gerhard Schroeder, the center-left former chancellor of Germany: in 2003, he called for a "change of mentality" in his own party, the SPD, as well as in German society as a whole. "Much will have to be changed to keep our welfare and social security at least at its current level," he added, as he argued in favor of reforms that would trim entitlements, and cut taxes. The chairman of the SPD, Franz Muentefering, supported Mr. Schroeder by saying that "we believe that things must be re

  • Social networking set to boom worldwide
Readers of the Financial Times are a canny lot. After all, you don't get to be concerned with the financing of the country unless you know a thing or two. So it was interesting to read in yesterday's newspaper that the City believes that social networking on the Internet is at least as important as the dot com boom of the late 1990s.Back then companies invested millions of pounds in business ideas, only a few of which worked online. Now, the likes of YouTube, MySpace and so on are racing around the globe in a bid to set up localised versions of their successful US sites. Everyone it seems from the companies themselves, their investors and the FT believes that social networking is the holy grail of Internet money making. We have been here before, of course. Ten years ago everyone knew that dot com businesses would make millions - only to have their fingers burned. This could be the same story all over again. Social networking is a significant step in the online world. It is an importan

Akamai, which claims to route 20% of the Internet's traffic through its platform, has used this data to create a very interesting real-time view of Internet usage for news, retail, and music. What I found most intriguing was another report that shows real-time Internet usage data; just drag a viewing box over specific sections of the world to see where the most Internet usage is occurring. It is interesting how these statistics mirror the regional traffic statistics for many of StepForth's clientele.Do you see correlations in this data and your site's regional traffic statistics? Perhaps, just perhaps, you will find markets to advertise in that you hadn't previously considered.by Ross Dunn, CEO, StepForth SEO ServicesCelebrating 10 Years of SEO Excellence
