So there's this Scroll of Resurrection deal for WoW, whereby someone can give you 10 free days on your existing lapsed account. Coincidentally, this is exactly the gap in time between the date when my EVE account renews and the date I want it to renew for convenience. And further, the end-game bit I really like in WoW, the PvP, has just become a lot more popular among my guildmates. So for a while at the end of this month, assuming my guildmates haven't got bored of PvP, I'm going to set a long skill training on EVE, and go play WoW for ten days. I'll let you know how it goes.

So without much further ado here is the commercial, and oh yea, its in French only.What's he saying? So in the Mr T WoW commercial post I had, I mentioned that Verne Troyer aka Mini-Me was supposed to be coming out with a World of Warcraft Commercial. Well its here folks. Like the Van Damme commercial, Mini-Me goes with a mage. Somehow I would have though it would have been funny to be a Tauren or Draenai that's a large body race. He put together a machinima based on a character, Snow Miser, from the 1974 Christmas movie, The Year Without Santa Claus. Today and yesterday was a good day for many people in World of Warcraft. While people were hoarding arena points to get their new Season 3 pvp gear. The smart ones were hoarding materials to sell for today. Here's the WoW Professions thread in which some people claim to have made up to 58k gold. Many Miners, Jewelcrafters, Enchanters and even some Tailors/Leatherworkers were marking up their goods. While I thought I did well cashing in at 1,600 gold today, I guess I was beat by those people who prepared in advance for this. I apparently didn't follow my own WoW Auction House Gold Tips regarding preparing for Tuesdays. Don't mind the Earned/hr part of the screen shot since I only logged in to check my mail so not very accurate on that part. I've set this expansion as the thing that will get me back into WoW, at least briefly, and one of the points in its favour for me is that the developers have learned from The Burning Crusade.One quote that really interests me is from Chris Metzen:

Our shuttle ride to the hotel was awful. i don't know if it was the fact that we waited to eat, or the driving, or the conditions of the shuttle, or what, but both Bart and I were carsick the whole way. I haven't come that close to hurling in a vehicle in a long time.But we're safe at the airport, checked in, and have plenty of time to eat and hang out before we get on the plane two hours from now.however, my lack of sleep and this nausea are not making me excited about the hours that are ahead.But Bart is back from his drug buying venture and we're waiting for our food to come, so I'm going to enjoy our time alone.
